Anirudh on 'Devara: Part 1': NTR Jr.'s Mass Appeal Will Shine

The 'Devara: Part 1' press meet that happened on Tuesday  in Chennai brought together an all-star cast and crew, including the 'Man of Masses'  who continues to dominate the limelight with his commanding presence. Alongside him were Janhvi Kapoor, director Koratala Siva, production designer Sabu Cyril, cinematographer R. Rathnavelu, and music composer Anirudh Ravichander. With fans eagerly awaiting more details about the film, Anirudh took to the stage to share why Devara is so close to his heart.

Reflecting on his experience, Anirudh shared, “This is only my 4th Telugu film in 12-13 years, but the love I’ve received from Telugu audiences has been immense. Devara: Part 1  will definitely be a super hit in Tamil too, because after working on the entire film and completing the background score, I know this movie is something special.” His confidence was palpable, attributing much of the film's impact to its unique setting, gripping action, and the mass appeal of NTR Jr.

Anirudh emphasized the fresh elements the movie brings to the table, saying, “This is a hardcore action film, but it’s also set in a new world with a different geography. Tarak Anna’s mass presence in that world, combined with Siva sir’s brilliant writing, will make it something memorable.” Having finished the background score, Anirudh expressed his excitement about the final product, assuring that Devara: Part 1 will not just be a hit in Andhra,Telangana and India but a global sensation.

Already generating significant buzz, Devara: Part 1 is set to be a cinematic masterpiece that transcends language barriers. Directed by Koratala Siva and featuring a star-studded cast including Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor, the film promises to keep the audiences engaged with its compelling narrative, breathtaking visuals, and powerful performances.
