What Ravi Kishan Said
Speaking at the trailer launch, Ravi Kishan said, “You’ve only seen a small teaser—just imagine how the full film will be. This cast, these performances, and this show, which is a cult in itself, is watched in every household. Whether it’s Bihar, UP, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Mumbai, or Gujarat—there’s excitement everywhere the moment people hear the name Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain.”
He added that in today’s times, when people are dealing with stress, depression, and sorrow, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain brings smiles to faces. “This film will tickle you and also make you emotional. We’ve only shown a small skit and teaser so far. Once you watch the full trailer, your heart will be filled with joy.”
Ravi Kishan further appealed to the audience, saying, “Please give this film the same love and blessings that you have given the TV show for the last 10 years. The film releases on February 6. On behalf of the entire team, I request you all to promote it. I don’t know how big the marketing budget is, but if the audience supports a film, no one can stop it. Take Dhurandhar as an example—it became a hit through word-of-mouth publicity. History was created by the audience’s love. Our film deserves the same, because it will entertain you and touch your emotions.”
He continued, “It is very important for this film to work. No one knows what destiny holds, but I truly believe it has the potential to create history, just like Dhurandhar did. We shot this film with a limited budget and within limited days. Despite having such talented actors, the shoot was completed in a very cost-effective manner. If such a special film gets a strong opening weekend, it will set a benchmark for cinema. I feel this film has that capability.”
A Bill for Actors in Parliament
At the event, Ravi Kishan also revealed that he has introduced a Private Member’s Bill in Parliament for character artists, proposing a pension-like scheme along with provisions for housing or land. He said that many television, film, and side artists often live an uncertain life, with irregular work and income. “Sometimes they don’t even have money for medical treatment and struggle financially. This bill is meant to address those issues,” he explained.
He cited Smriti Irani as an example, saying that she transitioned from television to politics and became a Union Minister. Similarly, many TV actors have entered cinema, won National Awards, and even become MPs or MLAs. Ravi Kishan said, “The bill has been presented in Parliament and will now be discussed. Cinema has given me so much, and it is my duty to give something back to Hindi cinema.”
He also shared that he discussed this issue with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who deeply respects artists and inspired him to bring such a bill. Ravi Kishan added, “I will also push to include a National Award category for television artists, so that TV serials are recognized at the national level.”
Sharing Shooting Experiences

Recalling moments from the shoot, Ravi Kishan humorously mentioned Aasif Sheikh’s health issues. “Aasif had severe back pain—he could barely walk. He had to be carried to the set. He’s been carrying such a slim waist for decades, so his upper body couldn’t take the load,” he joked, leaving everyone laughing.
What Mukesh Tiwari and Aasif Sheikh Said

Mukesh Tiwari said that the film is not just a comedy but a complete family entertainer. He shared that working with Ravi Kishan was a smooth and enjoyable experience, and their on-screen chemistry will be loved by audiences.

Aasif Sheikh added that the film has been made with immense love and dedication. Promising the audience, he said, “We’ve made you laugh on the small screen, and on the big screen we’ll try to make you laugh even more. This film is for our loyal audience who has showered us with love for years.”
Ravi Kishan’s On-Set Accident
During the event, Aasif Sheikh shared a shocking incident from the sets. “It was our first day at a new location. Ravi and I were sitting side by side, having coffee. Suddenly, a 12–13 feet tall tree fell between us. If either of us had been in its path, we would have been crushed. We were stunned—it felt like a miraculous escape,” he said with a laugh.

Ravi Kishan added, “The tree must have weighed around 500 kilos. It fell right between us. I did injure my shoulder, and there was a loud ‘boom’ sound.”
Producer Sanjay Kohli revealed, “We were all speechless for about 30 minutes. Ravi injured his shoulder and went for treatment, but within half an hour, he was back on set saying, ‘Let’s shoot.’ Coincidentally, a friend sitting in front of Ravi pushed him slightly when he saw the tree falling. If he hadn’t done that, Ravi’s shoulder would have been completely crushed.”
Aasif Sheikh concluded, “Thank God we survived. Otherwise, none of us would be present at the trailer launch today.”
What Shubhangi Atre and Rohitash Gour Said
Shubhangi Atre said that the show—and now the film—is very close to her heart. “This is a journey from the small screen to the big screen. Please go to theatres with your entire family on February 6 and bless our film,” she appealed.
Rohitash Gour addressed the audience directly, saying, “No excuses on February 6. Step out with your friends and family and watch the film. It’s a complete fun-filled entertainer.”
Vijayendra Kala and Tillu Chiran Speak
Vijayendra Kala said the film is packed with laughter, fun, and emotions. “Ravi Kishan has added an extra spark to the film. Working with him brought a unique energy,” he said.

In his trademark comic style, Tillu Chiran joked, “This film is going to be a hit on February 6. Whoever doesn’t watch it—we’ll take out their kidney!” His statement left the hall roaring with laughter.
Director Shashank Bali on the Film

Director Shashank Bali said that although the film was made on a limited budget and within a short timeframe, the strength of the story and the actors makes it special. He assured the audience that the film will offer a different experience from the TV show.
Journalist Chaitanya Padukone’s Question
During the media interaction, Mayapuri magazine’s senior journalist Chaitanya Padukone asked a key question to the co-producer about the film’s making. He pointed out that managing dates, coordination, and smooth shooting becomes challenging when so many experienced and well-known actors are involved, and asked whether the team faced any difficulties.

Responding to this, co-producer Vihaan Kohli said, “There were no major difficulties. All the actors supported the project wholeheartedly. Everyone was professional, and the common goal was to make a good and memorable film.” He added that mutual understanding and teamwork ensured that the shoot was completed on time and in a positive environment. “When actors respect each other and trust the story, working with a big cast becomes easy,” he said.
Another Question: What’s New in the Film?
Another question raised was that Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain has been a hugely popular TV show for 10–11 years, and when a cult show is adapted into a film, audiences often wonder whether it will feel like an extended TV episode or offer something truly cinematic.
/mayapuri/media/post_attachments/37096df5-932.png)
Answering this, Umesh Kumar Bansal said, “This film is not a copy of the TV show at all. The show is iconic in its own space, but the film offers a completely different experience. It has a new story, a fresh treatment, and a bigger cinematic scale. My only request to audiences is—leave your logic at home, sit in the theatre, and enjoy the ride with laughter. It’s a joyful rollercoaster filled with comic characters and nonstop fun.”
