Priyanka Yadav | Nana Patekar is known for his fearless attitude and candid opinions. He never hesitates to speak his mind on any issue. On December 2, the actor's boldness was on full display at the trailer launch of his upcoming film Wanvas. During the event, he gave some candid advice to the film's lead actor and renowned director Anil Sharma's son, Uttkarsh Sharma, in front of the entire cast and media. Uttkarsh, who plays the hero in Wanvas, has had a limited film career so far, starring as a child actor in Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, and later in Genius and Gadar 2. Interestingly, Wanvas is also directed by his father, Anil Sharma. As Uttkarsh has worked only with his father, Nana Patekar took this opportunity to advise him to gain experience working with other directors as well. Nana Patekar"s Advice to Uttkarsh While speaking to Uttkarsh on stage, Nana Patekar said, "Work with other directors at least once. Go to different places, work there, and you will understand. Many times, you have to work under tough circumstances. Here, your father (Anil) is with you, and he will cover up your flaws. But others won"t." Uttkarsh's father, Anil Sharma, responded to Nana's comments by explaining that outside, Uttkarsh doesn't always get the kind of roles he wants. However, he did acknowledge that Uttkarsh would be working with other people in the future. About the film Wanvas, written, produced, and directed by Anil Sharma, is set to release in theaters on December 20. The film stars Nana Patekar, Uttkarsh Sharma, and Simrat Kaur in the lead roles. The film is being distributed worldwide by Zee Studios.
