Box Office: Film inspired by the Nirbhaya incident "Delhi Bus"

The pain of the 2012 Nirbhaya rape incident in Delhi is something that people still cannot forget, a tragedy that left the entire nation deeply ashamed. The film Delhi Bus is inspired by this horrific event and is produced by Vipul Shah and directed by Sharik Minhaj. The movie recreates the same terrifying circumstances as the Nirbhaya case, set in a moving bus, which shocked the nation so profoundly that prominent leaders and celebrities took to the streets with candles in hand, protesting the brutal act.

A loving couple comes out of the cinema hall at night after watching the last show of the film, their bike breaks down and they travel in a bus. There are already 6 passengers on that bus who are very ill-intentioned, rowdy type, and flirtatious boys. They drink alcohol and start making dirty comments. At first, the boy and the girl oppose them but they are helpless in front of the flirtatiousness of the miscreants. The goons of the boys The bus driver and conductor also misbehave with the girl and eventually beat up the boy, injuring him and making him unconscious,s and then they rape the girl one by one. The matter does not end here. The rapist beasts put a rod in the girl's private parts and throw her and her unconscious boyfriend out of the moving bus thinking they are dead.

Police action is taken in this incident, a case is filed, the accused are caught, they are punished, and a public movement is started but one question remains, did the girl get justice? Is the death penalty for the beasts enough justice?

"Delhi Bus" is a torture rape case film which gives goosebumps. The extreme of brutality has been shown in the film. Produced by Vipul Shah, this film is directed by Shariq Minhaz. Co-producer is Tariq Khan.

The cast includes Anjan Srivastava, Neelima Azim, Sanjay Singh, Divya Singh, Tahir Kamal Khan, Azad Hussain, Javed Haider, Sheesh Khan Vicky Ahuja, etc. The film will be released in theaters on 29 November 2024.
