Citadel: Honey Bunny Premier – Stars Galore, but Where Was Saqib Saleem?

The much-anticipated action-packed web series Citadel: Honey Bunny, starring the beautiful and talented Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Bollywood's dashing hero Varun Dhawan, is all set to release. Before the big premiere, a star-studded event was held in Mumbai on Tuesday for the entertainment industry's biggest names. Let’s take a look at who all attended the Citadel: Honey Bunny premiere and what went down.

At the premiere, actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu looked stunning in a silver off-shoulder bodycon gown, exuding glamour. Meanwhile, the show’s lead actor, Varun Dhawan, arrived in a sharp black suit. Young star Kashvi Majmudar, who plays a key role in the series, made a statement in a blue princess gown, striking poses for the paparazzi.

Also present was actress Mahira Sharma, known for her appearance on Bigg Boss 13, who opted for a black leather pant and top combo. Actress Nimrat Kaur, often rumored to be involved with actor Abhishek Bachchan, wore a red bodycon dress, complete with a flower choker around her neck. Actress Kritika Kamra also turned heads in a red bow-style gown with a side slit and a neat ponytail.

Shivani Raghuwanshi, known for Made in Heaven, was seen in a floral dress at the event, while Rockstar actress Nargis Fakhri sported a cool light blue jumpsuit, showcasing a laid-back vibe. Varun Dhawan's niece, Anjani Dhawan, who made her Bollywood debut with Binny and Family, also graced the event, looking chic in a black and white bodycon dress.

From the Mirzapur fame, Rasika Dugal was seen in a sultry black backless outfit, while actress Neha Dhupia brought a casual, cool look to the red carpet in a black top and baggy pants.

The Gutter Goon web series actress Ashlesha Thakur turned up in a floral dress, while Bigg Boss 15 winner Tejasswi Prakash opted for a striking red short dress. Actress Avneet Kaur was also spotted, looking hot in a red top paired with a long skirt.

Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor kept it simple yet stylish in a black t-shirt and jeans, while Singham Again villain Arjun Kapoor appeared in a black t-shirt and grey pants. Aditya Roy Kapur was also seen in a casual look. Additionally, other notable attendees included Nimrit Das, Shivankit Singh Parihar, Mukul Chadda, Manish Paul, Ejaz Khan, Sunny Hinduja, Naveen Kasturia, Abhilash Thapliyal, Aditya Roy, Adarsh Gourav, director Nitesh Tiwari, and Vikramaditya Motwane.

After watching the show, actress Nimrat Kaur shared her review on Instagram, writing: "Congratulations to Team #CitadelHoneyBunny for this amazing, thrilling ride! Every moment was so enjoyable!! It’s sharp, unique, powerful, and outstanding!!!"

Why Was Saqib Saleem Missing?

Despite being part of the series, Saqib Saleem was notably absent from the premiere. According to reports, his dissatisfaction with not appearing in the trailer is believed to be the reason behind his absence. Sources claim that Saqib is currently in Goa.

Citadel: Honey Bunny is a high-octane spy-action web series, written by Sita R Menon and Raj & DK, who also directed the show. Raj & DK have previously delivered massive hits like Stree, The Family Man, Guns & Gulabs, Monica, O My Darling, and Raktbeej.

Produced by the Russo Brothers, the renowned Hollywood producers behind hit projects like Avengers and Extraction, Citadel: Honey Bunny brings a unique blend of thriller and action to the OTT space. The show is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video from November 7, starring Varun Dhawan, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, KK Menon, Simran Bagga, Sikandar Kher, Saqib Saleem, and Emma Canning.
