Actress Sara Khan, who rose to fame with the show Sapna Babul Kaa... Bidaai, Bollywood projects like M3 - Midsummer Midnight Mumbai an Hamari Adhuri Kahani and who was last  seen in show Chhathi Maiyya Ki Bitiya stepped  into new territory with Darr Darr Jau, her first song as a producer under her banner, Sara Khan Creation with association with Krish Pathak's Bharti Entertainment  While she has produced many projects , this song holds a special place in her heart. “Darr Darr Jau is my baby project,” she says. “My inspiration comes from my deep love for music and storytelling. Singing has always been close to my heart, and I wanted to create something meaningful. This song felt like the perfect start.”
The song, Darr Darr Jau: A Love Paradox, is a romantic track that explores the emotions of love and fear. “Love is not just about happiness; it also comes with insecurities, fears, and emotions we sometimes struggle to express. Darr Darr Jau captures that paradox of love, where you want to hold on but are also scared of losing,” Sara explains.

Before recording, she made sure she was fully prepared to bring out the right emotions. “I spent a lot of time understanding the depth of the lyrics. I wanted every note to reflect the emotions of the song. I worked on my voice modulation, practiced a lot, and even visualized how I would express those feelings while singing.”
For Sara, the experience of producing, singing, and acting in the same project was both exciting and challenging. “Being involved in every part of the project—from production to singing to acting, was an incredible experience. It gave me complete creative control, and I got to pour my heart into every aspect of it,” she shares.

Working with Krish Pathak in the song was a wonderful experience for her. “Krish is a fantastic actor, and working with him was amazing. He brought great energy to the song, and our chemistry on screen felt very natural. He was very supportive, which made the entire shooting process smooth and fun. Also, he is a fantastic creative director and did a great job. He brought my vision to reality.”

As a singer, Sara focused  on bringing emotions to life through her voice. “For me, singing is all about feeling the words. I connected with the song on a personal level, and that helped me deliver the right emotions. I made sure my voice carried the intensity and passion the song needed.”

Managing production, singing, and acting all at once was not an easy task. “It was definitely not easy! Balancing everything meant I had to be very focused. As a producer, I had to handle a lot of behind-the-scenes work. As a singer, I had to bring out the right emotions, and as an actor, I had to perform on screen while making sure the vision of the song was intact. It was hectic, but I enjoyed every bit of it because this project is so close to my heart.”
