Romantic rainy-season duet songs have always enthralled music-lovers with the melodious nasha since past eight decades! The latest melodious rainy-romance-bonding duet track “Barishe Teri”, sung by Padma Shri awardee great singer Kumar Sanu and versatile star singer Madhushree, was launched by director Anil Sharma ( of 'Gadar' fame) and Oma The Akk. Presented by Royant Music, the song is composed by genius Robby Badal with lyrics by talented Atif Rashid. The video is created by Avinash Badal.
At the launch, Kumar Sanu shared, “When Madhushree sang this to me over the phone, I instantly loved its tune and words. I have known Madhu for 30 years—her voice has a unique quality. The song has come out beautifully and will mesmerize listeners. Rain and romance always share a deep bond, and Barishe Teri expresses that feeling perfectly.”

Madhushree said, “In my life, a few people have played very important roles—A.R. Rahman and Kumar Sanu among them. Sanu Da inspired me to become a playback singer and motivated me throughout. My very first album was with him, and he has guided me with many valuable tips. Singing with Sanu Da is a blessing, and I’m grateful he agreed to sing this track. In this song, both lyrics and melody have been given special attention.”
