As part of his plan, Charlie forms a team to participate in a dance competition in Dubai.  The team doesn't consist of real dancers, but each member is an expert in their own field. One is a safe-cracking expert, another a computer hacker, one understands explosives, and another looks exactly like the villain's son. Later, Mohini joins the team. She works as a bar dancer but dreams of opening a classical dance school. As the story progresses, it cleverly intertwines the diamond heist, the dance competition, and the theme of revenge.

Regarding the cast, Shah Rukh Khan perfectly portrayed Charlie's swag, emotion, and heroism. Deepika Padukone was very natural in the role of Mohini, and her Gujarati accent was a hit with the audience. Abhishek Bachchan played a double role, and a large part of the film's comedy rested on his shoulders. Sonu Sood, Boman Irani, and Vivaan Shah also breathed life into their respective roles.
