Filmfare has announced the 10th edition of the Filmfare Awards Marathi 2025. With this year's event, the Filmfare Awards will complete a decade of honoring the best talents of Marathi cinema. For this 10th edition, Times Group has curated a spectacular night of cinema honoring entertainment and memorable moments.
The grand awards night will be held on July 10, 2025, at Hotel Sahara Star, Mumbai. In this event, films released between 1 January 2024 and 31 December 2024 and best performances will be honored with awards.
In this year's awards, the film 'Paani' is leading with 18 nominations. This film has received nominations in categories like Best Film, Best Director, and Best Actor. 'Phulwanti' is standing in competition with 16 nominations and Prajakta Mali is claiming Best Actor (Female) from this film. 'Gharat Ganpati' is also showing its strength in this race with 12 nominations. In the Best Film category, these films have been nominated: - Paani - Gharat Ganpati - Junam Furniture - Naach Ga Ghuma - Dharamveer 2 - Phulvanti Among the amazing performances that the audience has seen this year, Adinath M. Kothare has been nominated for several roles. He has been nominated in the Best Actor (Male), Best Director, and Best Actor (Critics) categories for 'Paani'. He has been selected in both the main and Critics' Choice categories. The competition in the Best Actress category is even more interesting and tough as Mukta Barve (Nach Ga Ghuma), Sai Tamhankar (Sridevi Prasanna), and Prajakta Mali (Phulvanti) have given amazing performances in this category. Apart from this, there is a competition between Pallavi Paranjape, Rohini Hattangadi, and Rucha Vaidya for the Critics Choice Award for Best Actress.
This award night will be hosted by the amazing duo of Amey Wagh and Siddharth Chandekar. Both of them have amazing energy and together they add color to any program and entertain the audience completely from start to end.
In this night filled with glamour and memorable moments, everyone will be interested and curious about the announcement of the names of the winners. Everyone will be eager to know who gets the 'Black Lady' i.e. the trophy.
