Sahitya Academy's 70-Year Celebration Literary Festival

This event has been organized on the occasion of the completion of 70 years of Sahitya Academy, the country's national literary institution, which is being celebrated as the world's largest literary event. Let us tell you that this festival will run till March 18 in the Ravindra Bhawan complex, in which more than 1,100 famous writers and scholars will participate in more than 190 sessions. A special thing about this 'Literary Festival' is that it will be presented in more than 175 languages of the country.

The third day of the 'Literary Festival' organized by the Sahitya Academy in the capital was dedicated to famous Bollywood lyricist Gulzar.

India's First Feature Film

On this occasion, lyricist and Urdu writer Gulzar talked about everything from the silent film 'Raja Harishchandra' to the film 'Chhapaak' directed by his daughter. Speaking on the topic of cinema and literature, he expressed his views on the widespread identity of cinema and its deep relationship with literature.

On this occasion, Gulzar says, "Cinema is a bit of history and I believe in changing the definitions of this history from time to time."
