Guneet Monga Joins Raam Reddy’s 'The Fable' Starring Manoj Bajpayee

Guneet Monga Kapoor the Academy Award-winning producer and founder of Sikhya Entertainment along with Achin Jain is very excited to step in as Executive Producers for the upcoming film 'The Fable'. This movie is directed by Raam Reddy who gained a lot of recognition for his previous 2015 film 'Thithi', which won two Golden Leopards at the 68th Locarno Film Festival and even bagged the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Kannada.

Cinema lovers are eagerly and excitedly looking forward to this film which is ready to have its Indian premiere at the 2024 Mumbai Academy of the Moving Image (MAMI) Film Festival. The Fable which was originally premiered at the highly respected Berlin International Film Festival in 2024 and received outstanding reviews promising it to be as one of the must-see films of the year. Critics have been raving about it mostly describing it as stunning and cinematic sorcery that offers a fresh look at themes like identity childhood and the idea of home.

Starring the talented Manoj Bajpayee as the character Dev, the film revolves around a family that stays in a beautiful Orchard Estate nestled in the picturesque Indian Himalayas. Their life is serene and filled with simple joys of life. Dev takes to the skies with his homemade wings in the mornings while his wife Nandini, portrayed by Priyanka Bose prepares delicious mulberry jam. Their children bring an infectious energy and happiness to their little home. However one day they stumble upon an apple tree that has been mysteriously burned, which leads to further destruction around them. As tensions start to mount up and suspicions begin to swirl among the family and their surroundings, a catastrophic fire ultimately breaks out. This tragic event forces Dev to confront the true nature of himself and his family.

The film features standing ovation performances from the impressive cast including Priyanka Bose Deepak Dobriyal and Tillotama Shome. Titled 'The Fable', this film is a collaborative effort between Indian and American production houses specifically  Prspctvs Productions and Maxmedia with Guneet and Achin from Sikhya Entertainment stepping in as Executive Producers.
