The event, held on January 16, saw the launch of the Mahakumbh Aarti music album, with Hema Malini, Anup Jalota, Anuradha Paudwal, poet Narayan Agarwal, and singer Vishal Agarwal in attendance. The bhakti songs featured in the album are sung by Hema Malini, Anup Jalota, and Vishal Agarwal, with lyrics penned by the renowned poet Narayan Agarwal, also known as ‘Das Narayan’. During the launch, the artists shared their thoughts about the devotional music.

Poet Das Narayan

On the occasion of the album release, poet Narayan Agarwal, also known as ‘Das Narayan’, expressed his emotions about the bhajans in Mahakumbh Aarti. He said, “Every line of this aarti is a humble offering to God. I believe that these words will have a deep impact on the listeners and inspire their hearts.”

Anup Jalota’s Appreciation

Singer Anup Jalota expressed his pride in being part of the holy Mahakumbh event, saying, "We all feel honored to participate in this sacred occasion. Listening to these songs will bring spiritual satisfaction to the listeners, and I request everyone to enjoy these songs."

 

He also praised Anuradha Paudwal and Hema Malini, saying, "I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to Mrs. Anuradha, who is with us today and has come to bless us. She has dedicated her entire life to the field of bhajans, and no other singer has sung with the same devotion as her."

 

Further, Anup Jalota shared, “Hema Ji has great love for Narayan Ji, and everything she says about him, she lives up to. Hema Ji treats everyone like family, and I am fortunate to be part of this family. She always gives me the opportunity to sing with her, for which I am truly grateful.” He also mentioned that he would be attending the Mahakumbh event on January 31. During the event, he hummed some songs dedicated to the Mahakumbh.

Hema Malini's Spiritual Reflection

Actress-turned-singer Hema Malini shared her thoughts about the event, saying, "Being a part of these divine compositions has been a spiritual experience for me. I am confident that these bhajans will touch the hearts of the listeners and bring them closer to God." She further added, “There is a cultural program happening there, and when this music is played, it will bring us joy.”

Hema Malini also appealed for the cleanliness of the Ganges and urged everyone to be kind to nature and all living beings. She shared that she would be attending the Mahakumbh on January 26.

Anuradha Paudwal’s Gratitude

On the launch occasion, bhajan singer Anuradha Paudwal expressed her feelings, saying, “I am deeply grateful to poet Narayan Agarwal, ‘Das Narayan’, for making me a part of this Mahakumbh Aarti. I am so happy to be a part of it.”

The bhakti songs sung by Hema Malini, Anuradha Paudwal, and Anup Jalota are now available on the Zee Music Company’s YouTube channel.
