There are some meetings in life that leave a huge impact on you, not because how grand it is, but because of the presence of someone who is beyond grand. And producer Binaiferr Kohli, who has produced shows like F.I.R., Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain!, and Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, along with her husband Sanjay Kohli under their banner Edit II, recently had one such iconic meetings with Infosys founder Narayana Murthy. She did manage to capture the moment, but the experience of being with someone so iconic is what truly overwhelmed her.
She said, “Meeting Mr. Narayana Murthy was one of those rare, grounding experiences. I genuinely felt like just a drop in the ocean in front of someone who has contributed so much to the nation and to the world. There was no pretense, no show—just wisdom, clarity, and humility.”
“You instantly understand why he’s so respected. He’s built something monumental, yet he carries himself with the grace of someone who has nothing to prove. I felt honoured and incredibly inspired. It reminded me that greatness doesn’t shout—it simply is,” she added.
Though Binaiferr has worked with some of the big names in the Indian television industry, and has created iconic characters and legendary shows, this moment was truly different and special. It reminded her of values that often get lost in the rush—integrity, consistency, and quiet leadership. She stood beside him not just as a successful producer, but as someone who has always believed in the long run. And in Mr. Murthy, she saw the same: someone who built slowly, steadily, and with purpose.
