Meanwhile three weeks prior to that, at IFFI 2024 in Goa, superstar Ranbir Kapoor will engage in a special conversation on Sunday, November 24, afternoon at Kala Academy, as part of the celebrations honoring his legendary great-grandfather, Raj Kapoor, on the occasion of his centenary. Hosted by filmmaker Rahul Rawail, the session promises to be an insightful exploration of Ranbir’s film journey, his acting techniques, and the influence of Raj Kapoor's legacy on both Bollywood and the global cinematic landscape.

Music-savvy Raj Kapoor is immensely popular for his common-man-connect Chaplinesque-tramp screen- image. The 'Awara', 'Anari' and Shri 420' romantic hero ( Raj-saab) largely credited with for creating the global cinematic popular phenomenon that Bollywood and Bollywood lyrical retro-music has become today. It was Raj Kapoor, Ranbir’s illustrious grandfather who firmly established the cultural supremacy of Bollywood across international borders and is known as one of the pillars of Indian Cinema. As is known, Raj Kapoor's evergreen iconic songs have been sung by legendary playback singers Mukesh and Manna Dey.

During this conversation, Ranbir will share personal anecdotes and discuss the creative processes behind his iconic performances, providing fans and aspiring actors with a rare glimpse into the artistic world of one of India’s most beloved stars.
