'Imlie' actor Sai Ketan Rao does not believe in dating at the workplace

South Indian actor Sai Ketan Rao, who came into the limelight by playing the role of Raghav Rao in Star Plus' serial 'Mehendi Hai Rachne Waali’, was later seen in the role of Raunak Babbar in Star Plus' 'Chashni'. These days he is seen in the serial 'Imlie'. ', he is gaining immense fame by playing the double role of Agastya Singh Choudhary and Surya Pratap Reddy. Some time back, he also appeared in the music video 'Mashhoor Banegi'. Apart from seven Telugu films, he has also appeared in some short films, and five web series and has also acted in some music videos.

Sai Ketan Rao's Dual Role Challenge in 'Imlie'

Talking about playing two contradictory characters in the TV serial 'Imlie', actor Sai Ketan Rao says - 'I was intrigued while playing the character of Agastya Singh Chaudhary in the serial 'Imlie'. Agastya Singh Chaudhary is a high-class guy with a lot of responsibilities, a simple person, who likes to take charge. Is a person who respects family responsibilities and everyone's choices? He is emotionally weak. Now I am playing the role of Surya Pratap in the same serial, who is a tough and robber type of police officer, he has his own rules and if justice is not given, he handles the case personally. That means both Agastya and Surya Pratap are contradictory to each other. This is the biggest challenge for me. The role of Agastya's character is quite challenging, especially the dialect that demands speaking in Hindi, while Surya, on the other hand, speaks Hindi in a tough South Indian style. Also, Surya's body language is uncooperative. An actor rarely gets the opportunity to play two different challenging characters in the same serial.”

Sai Ketan Rao says- “As far as preparation for playing these characters is concerned, there is always a shortage of time in television. While working on TV, we actors get very little time to prepare. But luckily I have cracked my code for both roles and it is working as promised. Fans are always surprised because I have created two different personalities. That's why I love both of these characters. I have thoroughly enjoyed playing both roles together. ,

Sai Ketan Rao is currently focusing all his attention on his acting career. He says- “I am not dating anyone. My focus is on improving my career. The serial co-star is our good friend on the set. I feel that as an actor one should focus more on work rather than other distractions. On a personal level, I do not believe in dating at the workplace.”
