It was a historic, memorable "re-union" evening when super-hit 'Kalicharan' (1976) star-hero Shatrughan Sinha (along with his dignified star-wife Punam Sinha) and the 'Kalicharan 'showman' director came together. This was the exotic resto-bar Osttaad, at Santacruz West, Mumbai, as the latest issue of ‘Society Achievers’ magazine with the legendary real-life couple Shatrughan Sinha and his wife Punam Sinha featured on the cover-page was officially unveiled..The magazine issue coincided with the 45th wedding anniversary (July 09th) during this month of the 'ek-duuje-ke-liye' popular Sinha power-couple. Which explains why the Society Achievers cover-story was dedicated to Shatrughan and Punam praising their timeless mutual bonding and cherished traditional family-values of Love, Loyalty and Legacy.

The event was graced by veteran yet evergreen iconic star-actor and Member of Parliament Shatrughan Sinha himself along with his dignified charming actress wife, former Miss India and philanthropist Punam Sinha, who unveiled the cover alongside iconic actor-turned- 'showman' filmmaker Subhash Ghai, Founder of prestigious Whistling Woods International Academy in Mumbai. 

Sharing his sentiments, Subhash-jee said that "Sonu" ( Shatrughan) and he were close friends ever since they were both alumni ( ex-students) of  FTII and later they became 'extended-family-members' which continues till today. "Despite a series of adverse odds, Shatrughan was and is an exemplary living-legend Achiever who has achieved glorious fame on his own honest merit. As a versatile fabulous passionate star actor-producer, honest dedicated MP-full-fledged Cabinet Minister politician and a loyal dedicated family man with traditional values. Even his star-daughter Sonakshi ("asli sona"),  his twin sons actor Luv Sinha and director Kussh Sinha  ( latest thriller movie 'Nikita Roy') are also achievers following their famous father's foot-steps," said Subhash jee

The modest, candid 'witty' Shatrughan Sinha acknowledged Subhash Ghai as his close friend, philosopher and constant guide and that Ghai has always stood by him in times of any crisis, since past over 50 years. " It will be my constant endeavor to live up to the expectations of this prestigious Society Achievers honour conferred on me today! Also present at the launch were Ashok Dhamankar, Founder of Magnate Publishing Pvt Ltd; Andrea CostaBir, Chief Editor of ‘Society Achievers’; Sunil Khavnekar and the enthusiastic Team Magnate, whose passion continues to elevate the magazine as a beacon of glamour, grit and greatness.

Film industry veteran manager-secretary-producer  Pawan Kumar (close associate of Shatrughan Sinha ) and publicist Siddhant Gill were also honoured at the magazine launch, that brought together Mumbai’s elite, media professionals and industry stalwarts in an intimate setting that reflect the magazine's commitment to excellence in storytelling and visual finesse.

The current issue of ‘Society Achievers’ highlights the remarkable personalities who have left an indelible mark in their respective domains, celebrating success that inspires.
