After delivering a widely acclaimed performance in Tere Ishk Mein, which has crossed Rs 118 crore worldwide, the actor wrapped up the year with elegance and confidence on the global stage. In a stunning crossover moment, Kriti was also seen interacting with global icons including Dakota Johnson, Nina Dobrev, Uma Thurman, and Adrien Brody at the Red Sea Women in Cinema Gala Dinner. Kriti arrived in a statuesque black gown by Australian designer Toni Matičevski for the Women In Cinema event, embodying sharp glamour with a thigh-high slit and sculpted detailing. For her “In Conversation” session, she chose a beige silk organza gown by Dubai-based designer Kristina Fidelskaya, featuring a structured bodice, sheer skirt, cascading floral appliqués, and a flowing silhouette. Paired with studded earrings and rings from hajoomal Jewellers, dewy glam, pinky-nude lips, and striking purple glittery eyeshadow, Kriti’s styling reflected sophistication and ease in equal measure.

Kriti Sanon Talks Layered Role in Tere Ishk Mein

During her session at the festival, she spoke candidly about portraying one of her most layered characters in Aanand L. Rai ’s musical Tere Ishk Mein. “What I love about her is that she’s not perfect. She’s not your quintessential good girl. She’s flawed, as we are as human beings. And she’s extremely raw, she’s vulnerable,” she said, highlighting the shift from the traditional male gaze to more nuanced storytellers. She added: “I’m really glad that love stories are back. I craved them. It’s my favorite genre… this year has been about love stories.”
