Mukta Barve and Priya Bapat Reunite After Eight Years in Upcoming Series ‘Asambhav’

In the Marathi film industry, actresses Priya Bapat and Mukta Barve are big names, and audiences eagerly look forward to seeing them together in films. However, both are very selective when it comes to choosing a story, script, and roles. About eight years ago, on February 18, 2018, the Marathi film Aamhi Doghi was released, featuring Mukta Barve and Priya Bapat together.

Since then, Mukta Barve has appeared in eleven films, including Mumbai Pune Mumbai 3, Ranganan, Wedding Cha Cinema, Bandishala, Smile Please, Devi, Ekda Kay Zhala, Vay, Apdi Thappad, Alibaba Ani Chalis Chor, and Nach G Ghuma. Similarly, Priya Bapat has worked in Marathi and Hindi films like Naya Phool, Jehan, Timepass 3, Chakki, Visphot, Kastav, and Bin Laganachi Goshta. Her performance in the Hindi TV serial Kastav was widely appreciated.

Mukta Barve and Priya Bapat Reunite for Marathi Film Asambhav

However, Mukta Barve and Priya Bapat hadn’t shared the screen since Aamhi Doghi. Now, after almost eight years, they will be seen together again in the Marathi romantic mystery film Asambhav, releasing on November 21. The news of their reunion has excited fans, and the film has already become one of the most talked-about movies of the year. Interestingly, the chemistry between Mukta Barve and Priya Bapat in Asambhav is noticeably different from their previous collaboration. Priya Bapat constantly praises Mukta Barve’s acting style, while Mukta Barve feels a sense of joy every time she works with Priya Bapat.

Asambhav, a suspenseful, thrilling, and slightly chilling film, was shot in the cold weather of Nainital, Uttarakhand. The film is directed by Sachit Patil, with co-director Pushkar Shrotri. This marks Sachit Patil’s debut as a director, although audiences are already familiar with him as an actor in films like Sade Made Teen and Kshanbhar Shrimati. In Asambhav, Sachit Patil not only acts but also co-produces and co-writes the script. The film is produced by Nitin Prakash Vaidya and Sachit Patil.
