Neha Dhupia on OTT: A Bold Statement in 'No Filter' Edition

Neha Dhupia lauded the OTT for reviving her career and offering opportunities to change the Indian entertainment landscape in its most no-filter version.

Outspoken and extremely popular actress, who is the cultural icon, Neha Dhupia, boldly affirms the important role of OTT platforms in reshaping the Indian entertainment industry. In a recent statement, Dhupia said, "If there was no OTT, I would have been unemployed."

Neha Dhupia's OTT Milestones

Dhupia's journey in OTT started with her exceptional performance in 'A Thursday', a film she did when she was pregnant and garnered rave reviews and accolades. While talking on this milestone show, she said, "OTT has become the  survival platform for many  actors in today's times."

On this thought-provoking, burning issue, in the panel discussion, Neha Dhupia threw light on the deep changes brought about by the OTT revolution. She said “After the successful rise of OTT, the Indian cinema and entertainment world for new and old artists has completely changed,”

In spite of the timeless charm of the silver screen," Dhupia emphasized the change which became the lifeline for artists across generations.

"Neha Dhupia's professional career also shows how the entertainment industry is changing. In the previous year, she did one movie and three projects for streaming services, showing how powerful those platforms have become.

She also talked elaborately about how streaming has given older actors, and directors, new chances in the entertainment world. And now, Neha is stepping into new areas by making her international debut with "Blue 52" and working in an OTT project, which is focused on mental health.

She is also continuing as producer and host for the sixth edition of "No Filter with Neha", one of India's top podcasts."
