Neha Dhupia Reflects on Self-Respect: Actress Neha Dhupia recently spoke about how yoga has truly changed her life. She emphasised that it is not a final destination but a continuous journey. It should be pursued for a lifetime, not just for a day. She respected her body, breath, and the lessons of a calm mind taught by yoga.
Talking about healthy, beautiful living, Neha said that this yoga practice has built flexibility and grace in the body, which teaches how to maintain self-care and beauty every day. Neha said, "Yoga has no destination. It is not a journey that ends, but a journey that takes you inward. This Yoga Day, I pay my respects to my body, my breath, and the lessons I learn in that silence".
This practice has taught me patience, gentleness, and the strength to stand up for myself every day. Whether you are just starting out or have been practising for years — we are all just breathing and learning. Anyone, whether someone is new to yoga or has been practising for years, everyone is breathing and learning."
Neha Dhupia Marks Yoga Day With Family Asanas
This year, on the 11th International Yoga Day on June 21, 2025, Neha Dhupia celebrated on Instagram by sharing pictures of herself performing various yoga asanas from headstands to Surya Namaskars, guided by her coach. Her children, Mehr and Gurik, also joined her session. She posted that she practices yoga "with her world" and that yoga has "changed my world", wishing everyone health, happiness and peace. She also wished her yoga guru a special happy birthday, and thanked him for sharing his practice with her.
Several other Bollywood stars also celebrated International Yoga Day. Fitness icon Malaika Arora posted a video highlighting the benefits of yoga, saying, "Yoga is not just a practice. It's a lifestyle". Shilpa Shetty shared a video emphasising on balance and well-being, saying "gratitude is the highest form of yoga". Rajkummar Rao shared photos of himself in a meditative pose, reflecting the gratitude, discipline and peace that yoga provides. Celebrities such as Kangana Ranaut, Nushrratt Bharuccha, Rakul Preet Singh, Jacky Bhagnani, Hina Khan, Nimrat Kaur and Sandeepa Dhar also shared their personal connections to yoga, and highlighted its benefits for both physical and mental health. These stars show how yoga helps build physical flexibility, balance, strength, and inner peace, making it a powerful tool for overall health.
