North Bombay Durga Puja 2025: Ranbir Kapoor Seeks Blessings with Ayan Mukerji

Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor, who turned 43 just a day earlier, was spotted enjoying the Durga Puja celebrations on Monday, September 29. At the North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja pandal, Ranbir offered prayers to Goddess Durga and spent some special moments with his longtime friend, filmmaker Ayan Mukerji. This pandal, organized every year by Kajol and her family, has become a favorite hotspot for Bollywood celebrities.

Ranbir’s Traditional Look

For the occasion, Ranbir Kapoor opted for a blue shimmering kurta paired with white pajamas, perfectly reflecting his traditional yet stylish personality. The kurta’s sparkling texture enhanced the festive vibe, while the white pajama added simplicity to the look. He completed his outfit with a classic wristwatch, complementing the spirit of Durga Puja. Upon arriving at the pandal, Ranbir headed straight to the idol of Goddess Durga, where he was seen kneeling down and joining hands in prayer. After seeking blessings, he greeted the media with a wave.

Post prayers, Ranbir reunited with his close friend Ayan Mukerji, posing for photos together. Ayan chose a peach-toned ethnic outfit that matched the festive mood. His look was simple yet elegant, creating a perfect contrast with Ranbir’s blue kurta. The duo instantly reminded fans of their collaboration in Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva. Though Kajol and Rani Mukerji were not spotted at the event, Tanishaa Mukerji clicked a group photo with Ranbir. Attending this annual ritual has become a tradition for Ranbir. Usually, he is accompanied by his wife and actress Alia Bhatt, but this time, his bonding with Ayan became the highlight.

 On the Work Front

On the professional side, Ranbir will next be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War, alongside Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. He will also be playing the role of Lord Ram in Namit Malhotra and Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana. The first part of the film has already been completed and is set to release during Diwali 2026. In addition, Ranbir has multiple projects lined up, including YRF’s Dhoom 4, Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal Park, and Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmāstra: Part Two.
