Nostalgic hansi-mazaak and emotional aansoo elevate Seema Kapoor’s autobio-book "Yun Guzri Hai Ab Talak", launch by Anupam Kher, Paresh Rawal, Annu Kapoor, Boney Kapoor! by Chaitanya Padukone

With acclaimed actor-singer-composer Raghubir Yadav's sharing his flash-back childhood masti-bharaa amusing memories with writer-director-author ' Guddo'-- Seema Kapoor,  the  'houseful' star-studded gathering frequently burst into loud laughter and applause. It was almost like a long 'haasya-sammelan'. The responsive audience included seasoned celeb-stars like Anupam Kher, Paresh Rawal, Annu Kapoor, Boney Kapoor, Divya Dutta,  flautist-musician "Padma Shri" Ronu Majumdar, writer-director Rumi Jaffrey, singer "Padma Shri" Jaspinder Narula. and Pratima Kazmi Kannan. Later, during the same event, both sensitive Dr.Annu Kapoor and Boney Kapoor got emotional while they shared frank, honest yet sentimental tributes on stage and even the audience became teary-eyed.

The wonderful literary occasion was the release of the frank-honest colorful Hindi autobiography of renowned Bollywood writer-director- Seema Kapoor, titled "Yun Guzri Hai Ab Talak", was launched. The 'must-read' book (which is in Hindi) was released by Anupam Kher, Paresh Rawal, producer-actor Boney Kapoor, Dr. Annu Kapoor, Divya Dutta, Raghubir Yadav, singer Dr. Jaspinder Narula, writer-director Rumi Jaffery, Ronu Majumdar, Pratima Kanan, popular actress Grusha Kapoor (with husband Bikram), model-actor-writer Misha Kapoor among others. The grand event was well-coordinated and organized by Kumarr and Riddhi Kumar from Studio Refuel and the trending inspirational book has been published by Rajkamal Prakashan.              (Considering the wider-reach prospects, the publishers should probably also consider releasing the translated English version of the same bio-book).

Dr. Khushbu Panchal from Ujjain commenced the program by reciting Sanskrit shlokas. A video message from renowned filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra was also played, in which he read excerpts from Seema Kapoor’s book.

Anupam Kher expressed his admiration for multi-talented Seema Kapoor, stating, "I have known Seema Kapoor for years, and she remains as graceful as ever. Seema-- a powerhouse of creativity, has written this book like a film script—readers will feel as if they are watching an engaging movie unfold before their eyes. It is rare for someone to portray their experiences so truthfully on paper. I feel fortunate to be present at this launch. The way resilient Seema Kapoor lived her life is inspiring, and I am sure her future journey will continue to be wonderful."

Author of her bio-book "Yun Guzri Hai Ab Talak" and event-host Seema Kapoor expressed her dil-sey gratitude, saying, "I sincerely thank all the guests who took time out of their busy schedules to be here. I humbly appreciate the kind words from Anupam Kher, Paresh Rawal, Boney Kapoor, Raghubir Yadav, Divya Dutta, Rumi Jaffery, and everyone else. My maternal grandfather was a revolutionary, and my maternal family was filled with Bengali artists. My paternal grandfather was a Colonel in the army. However, my father moved to Delhi and established a theater company with nearly 250 plus stage-artistes. Eventually, cinema overshadowed theater, and my father struggled to keep the company alive, even taking loans to support the artists. My mother had to sell her jewelry and sarees. At that time, theater and folk performances were looked down upon, and I faced social discrimination because my family was involved in theater. I remember carrying just half a roti with pickles to school in my lunchbox. My honest bio-book  "Yun Guzri Hai Ab Talak is actually a piece of my soul,"  smiled Seema.

An emotionally moved erudite actor-singer- film-maker-TV-show presenter and RJ  Dr. Annu Kapoor profusely thanked all the guests at the launch and said, "My sister Seema has endured many hardships, pain, and struggles. She is no less than a warrior. She is the only sister we have, and she always remains cheerful. She is always eager to help others. Life is a battle, and we all have to fight our own battles. Her autobiography tells a tale of struggles, and she has honored our parents in this book. It is truly an inspiring read," said articulate Anu while humming the lyrics of the 'Dosti' movie realistic song 'Dukh Toh Apna Saathi Hai' penned by legendary Majrooh-saab...

Boney Kapoor became very emotional and was in tears while speaking about Seema Kapoor. He shared, "Seema Kapoor as a Guru-tutor taught both my actress-daughters, Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor, the correct pronunciation of Hindi and Urdu. I extend my heartfelt congratulations to her on the launch of her autobiography."

Singer Jaspinder Narula expressed her happiness and congratulated Seema Kapoor on fulfilling her dream of writing a book.

Theatre and movie veteran Paresh Rawal praised Seema Kapoor's writing skills and her book said, "Writing an autobiography is not an easy task—it is full of challenges.
