He said, “Param Sundari isn’t just a cross-cultural story but touches on a theme that is now a part of every young person’s life. Param is a guy who fully trusts technology and apps.”

Sidharth Speaks Up

During the event, Sidharth spoke about why love songs remain an integral part of Bollywood storytelling. He said, “I don’t think we can even imagine a Hindi film without a rom-com or love song. Since I started watching films, I remember so many songs that made me want to fall in love. Be it an action film, a thriller, or any other genre, romance has always been a vital element of Hindi cinema.”

Talking about Param Sundari, he added,

“Maybe I haven’t done anything like this in the last few years. As Dino (Dinesh Vijan) said, when Maddock started, they made beautiful romantic films with amazing songs—and now we’re here. The kind of love the trailer has received, and now the response to the album—it’s truly heartwarming.”

Sidharth Praises Sonu Nigam

During the event, Sidharth praised Sonu Nigam’s voice, saying, “I’ve worked with Sachin–Jigar and Sonu sir before, but I never had the chance to lip-sync a romantic song in Sonu sir’s voice. I’ve seen Shah Rukh sir do it. We’ve also been assistants and learned how to do high-speed shots. Through this film, I got that chance for the first time. I’d say Sonu sir’s voice itself is filled with love. The moment his song starts, you feel love—there’s hardly any need to add extra expressions. When we first heard the album’s opening track, the whole team instantly loved it. That song remains very special to us.”
