In fact, in an interview, veteran actor Asrani said that he has already shot for Priyadarshan's film 'Bhoot Bangla' starring Akshay Kumar, Tabu, Paresh Rawal and others. He recalled shooting for the film (Akshay Kumar- Saif Ali Khan film Haiwaan) in Hyderabad earlier this year. The veteran actor shared that he has worked with Priyadarshan in many films in the last few years. He said, "Right now the shooting is starting in September. The name of the film is Haiwaan. Priyadarshan is the director". Asrani has been a part of many films of Priyadarshan, including Hera Pheri, Hulchul, Malamaal Weekly, Bhagam Bhag, Chup Chup Ke and many more.

There were other titles as well, but given the characters played by the lead actors, this was the unanimous choice."
