Always the 'ageless 44 plus' evergreen look !! Heartiest 60th Happy B'day to mega-star Perfectionist Aamir Khan! It was so heart-warming that besides sharing with the paparazzi, modest Aamir-Bhai also shared with me, a large piece of his Spl Bday Cake at the media-meet. In a very romantic mood, Aamir ( who is learning classical music) loudly sang 'Raja Ko Rani Sey Pyaar Ho Gaya' from his own film.
Later, the charismatic Khan unraveled the 'suspense-mystery' and introduced the news-media present to his new associate and romantic "Partner" dignified charming GAURI Spratt! Whom he has been discreetly 'courting' for over a year. This incredible entry of a new Partner and an emotional anchor in his personal life seemed more like a precious B'Day Gift for him! Unfortunately, Aamir was not 'raazi' for the Paparazzi, to click his pics with his latest lady-love Gauri Spratt. with whom he also fondly held her hands and showed how much he cares for her.
While speaking to me, Aamir-bhai fondly recalled, that incidentally, Gauri was his romantic on-screen heroine's name in Lagaan (2001). This was when I mentioned to him that even Shah Rukh's wife's name is also Gauri. Romantic 'Raja Hindustani ko Gauri-Rani sey pyaar ho gaya ? '
Was he planning to get married to Gauri Spratt? " "As of now I am fully committed to her, and she makes me feel at-home and we are very sure about each other," replied Aamir who in Gauri's presence fondly sang lines from the Kabhi Kabhi movie title song-- "Tujhe zameen pey, bulaaya gaya hai mere liye"
Surprisingly, Gauri, who is currently working for Aamir's production house is not a regular Bollywood movie-watcher and has watched only a few Aamir starrers like 'Dil Chaahta Hai' and 'Lagaan'
'Cinema Kaa Jaadugar' Aamir also observed that both Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan were also born in 1965 and even they would be turning 60 years age ( Senior Citizens) this year.
Aamir whose next movie (2025) release (opposite Genelia Deshmukh) would be the sports-drama thriller 'Sitaare Zameen Par', directed by R S Prasanna, also shared they he is also working on a screen-adaptation of the epic Mahabharata. Frankly, I will not be surprised if Aamir casts himself in his dream role of Lord Krishna or alternately as Arjuna!
It's been my honour knowing Aamir, personally, as a modest, unassuming outspoken actor with that streak-of-mischief in his eyes. In fact, I knew him, much before the release of his initial debut movie Qayamat Sey Qayamat Tak. And even killer-thriller Raakh .. Aamir's excellence in playing contrasting lead roles ranging from Lagaan to Fanaa, from Ghajini to Dangal and from Rangeela to Raja Hindustani and from Dhoom-3 to Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke makes him an Inspiring-Institution-Master Class in versatile acting.
All the very best "bilkul-Nahi-lagte-Senior Citizen", 'ageless' Aamir-bhai, for all Your upcoming movie projects including movie Sitaare Zameen Par!
