The prestigious Gateway of India in Mumbai recently hosted the Global Peace Honours 2025. The event paid tribute to the martyrs, survivors, and families affected by the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack and the Pahalgam terror attack. Shah Rukh Khan
King Khan appeared at the event in a sharp black formal look. While addressing the audience from the stage, he paid tribute to the bravery of Indian soldiers and remembered the supreme sacrifice of the martyrs of the Pahalgam and Delhi terror attacks. Shah Rukh Khan said emotionally,“My humble tribute to the innocent people who lost their lives in the 26/11 attacks, the Pahalgam terror attack, and the recent Delhi blast. And my heartfelt salute to our brave security personnel who sacrificed their lives in these attacks.”
He then recited four heartfelt lines dedicated to the soldiers:“When someone asks you what you do, hold your head high and say, ‘I protect my nation.’
If someone asks, ‘How much do you earn?’ then smile and say, ‘I earn the blessings of 1.4 billion people.’
And if they still ask, ‘Do you ever feel afraid?’ look them in the eye and say, ‘Those who attack us are the ones who feel fear.’”

Shah Rukh Khan further added,“On this occasion of the Global Peace Honours, I salute the families of these martyrs on behalf of the entire nation. I salute the mothers whose wombs gave birth to these brave sons. I salute the courage of their fathers, and I salute the strength of their partners—because although the soldiers were on the battlefield, you too fought a battle… with immense bravery and resilience. My heartfelt salute to all of you.”

Nita Ambani looked elegant in an embroidered ivory saree. In her emotional speech, she saluted the courage and sacrifice of the families of the 26/11 and Pahalgam martyrs.
