‘Smart Killer’ Trailer Launched at IMPPA House; Film to Hit Theatres on Makar Sankranti

One such film releasing on the auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti is Smart Killer, produced by the media company Filmi Jhalak International Media Network. The film has been produced by Rajaram Singh, who is also the editor-publisher of the film magazine Filmi Jhalak.

Film Trailer Launch Highlights Family Conflict

Recently, a grand trailer launch event for the film was held at IMPPA House in Mumbai. The event saw participation not only from members of the film fraternity but also from people associated with social causes, along with IMPPA staff and media personnel. Taking his first step from journalism to filmmaking, Rajaram Singh shared that the film is not a crime drama but a family drama. It portrays how family members of people living in big cities become their enemies when they return to their homeland, wishing they no longer live abroad. This leads to a rebellion of one’s own people against their own.

Durgesh Nautiyal, a star from Uttarakhand, plays the role of “Smart Killer.” This is his first big break in a Hindi film. Rajaram Singh, who hails from the same region, said that from the moment he met Durgesh, he felt the young talent deserved to be in Hindi cinema.

The songs have been melodiously sung by Raja Hasan, Dr. Ranjoo Bhattacharya, and Naksh Aziz. The choreography is done by Shravan Thakur.
