He held up a photograph from his childhood, in which he could be seen with none other than the legendary South Indian actor Rajinikanth. Talking about the photo and the story behind it, Hrithik shared, “I had no idea that I was standing next to one of the greatest men of all time. To me, he was just Rajini Uncle. I used to speak to him casually, saying "yes" and "no". I would talk to him like that. But here"s the thing—whenever I made a mistake or missed a shot, my grandfather would cut the shot. Rajini sir would take all the blame on himself so that I wouldn"t feel bad. He would say, "Sorry, sorry, sorry! It"s my mistake." It was unbelievable.” Hrithik went on to say that if he had the chance to work with Rajinikanth today, he would approach the situation very differently. “I would definitely feel the weight and the responsibility of sharing screen space with him,” he added. During the event, Hrithik also praised Rajinikanth for his humility and generosity. “He was extremely kind and gracious with me,” Hrithik said. The Film 'Bhagwan Dada' Hrithik Roshan worked with Rajinikanth in the 1986 family drama film Bhagwan Dada, directed by J Om Prakash. Rajinikanth played the lead role, while Rakesh Roshan and the late Bollywood actress Sridevi were also part of the film.
