Stars Attend the Special Screening of 'All We Imagine As Light'

After making waves at the Cannes Film Festival and winning the prestigious Grand Prix award, Payal Kapadia's film All We Imagine As Light is set to release in India on November 22. The film’s special screening was held in Mumbai yesterday, and it saw a star-studded turnout from the world of cinema.

The screening began with renowned filmmaker Zoya Akhtar and actor Rana Daggubati arriving at the venue. Rana looked effortlessly stylish in blue jeans, a black T-shirt, and a shirt, paired with sunglasses. Zoya Akhtar, known for creating masterpieces like Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and Dil Dhadakne Do, kept it simple in a jeans and top ensemble. Payal Kapadia, too, attended in a casual look, joining them at the event. The trio posed for several photos together, marking the occasion in style.

A Special Connection with the Film

Rana Daggubati's presence at the screening was no coincidence—his company, Spirit Media, is presenting All We Imagine As Light in India. As the founder of Spirit Media, Rana is responsible for distributing the film across Indian theaters.

Samantha Ruth Joins the Celebration

Also spotted at the screening was the popular actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who turned heads in a simple yet chic look with jeans and a T-shirt. She happily posed for the paparazzi, enjoying her time at the event. Samantha was last seen with Varun Dhawan in the web series Citadel: Honey Bunny.

Ali Fazal Stands Out with a Different Look

Actor Ali Fazal, who recently became a father, also made an appearance at the special screening. Known for his unique sense of style, Ali stood out in a black suit and long hair, looking as dashing as ever. Ali and Payal Kapadia share a long-standing friendship, and his presence added a personal touch to the event.

Apart from these big names, actress Rasika Duggal also made a stylish entrance in a black outfit. Other notable personalities spotted at the screening included Adarsh Gourav, Reema Kagti, Munisha Khatwani, and Lakshmi.

About the Film

All We Imagine As Light revolves around the lives of three women—Prabha (played by Kani Kusruti), Anu (played by Divya Prabha), and Parvathy (played by Chhaya Kadam)—who work as nurses in a hospital in Mumbai. Both Prabha and Anu are immigrants from Kerala, but they have very different personalities. While Prabha is disciplined and strict, Anu is rebellious and secretly involved in an affair. The lives of these three women intersect in surprising ways, culminating in a trip to Parvathy's village in Ratnagiri, which changes their bond in unexpected ways.

If we talk about All We Imagine As Light, the film has already been released in theaters on November 22.
