A new short film, 'Jahaan-The Last Gift' is making a lot of buzz in Bollywood these days, especially as it came with an important message about nature and our planet, on this World Environment Day. The film is directed by Rahul Shetty, who is known for his work as a choreographer in popular Bollywood films like ABCD 2, Street Dancer 3D and Baaghi 2. This is his first time directing a film, and he has created something special that touches the heart and makes people think about the environment.
The film also created a stir at the Waves Summit 2025. Tiger Shroff, playing the role of an honest man in the film, said, "Sometimes the end is the new beginning. Happy to be a part of this short film with such a powerful message directed by my bro @rahuldid. Need of the hour, Mother Nature, Save our planet, Healthy world 'Jahaan'.
Jahaan The Last Gift Wins Global Film Festival Fame
Produced by Remo D'Souza, 'Jahaan-The Last Gift' has already received worldwide acclaim and was voted as one of the top 10 films at the prestigious film festival International Waves Bazaar. But this film is not just an award-winning film, but goes many steps beyond that and says much more. It is a clear alert reminder to all mankind to maintain and take care of the Earth.
The story of the film shows how man and nature are connected. Rahul Shetty explains that nature has its own rhythm, just like a dance. But sadly, this rhythm is broken because of the way we treat the environment, it breaks the rhythm of life. All the colours are fading. He wants people to remember that the Earth is not something separate from us. It is a part of us. His message is simple, straightforward, but powerful. He has shown how we should recycle everything we use and how we should plant more trees and respect nature.
Producer Remo D'Souza openly supports this message and encourages everyone to be a part of the change, and says that just watching is not enough. He said, "We don't have to be the generation that has only seen the change, but we have to be the generation that has become the change." Shroff also shared his thoughts and said that this is his first short film, and he is attracted by the important message about Mother Nature and global warming. He hopes that this film will reach many people as the message is important and told beautifully, he said, "This is my first short film and also my brother's first short film as a director. We are talking about the environment, nature, and global warming. I want this to go everywhere because the message is important and told so brilliantly. "
Apart from the news about the film's release, several environmental groups in Mumbai are organising clean-up drives and tree planting events to celebrate World Environment Day. Schools and colleges are also using 'Jahaan - The Last Gift' as a teaching tool to help young people understand the importance of protecting our global planet.
This short film is not just about entertainment but also a call to action. Rahul Shetty's move from being a dance director to director, shows how art can inspire change. 'Jahaan - The Last Gift' invites everyone to think about their role in saving the Earth and encourages people to take action before it's too late. On this World Environment Day, the film reminds us all that protecting nature is the greatest gift we can give to future generations.
