Top celebs Rakesh Roshan, Ameet Satam, Arpita Pal, Madhushree seek blessings at veteran-movie-star Biswajeet Chatterjee's 22nd Year Juhu Scheme Durgotsav Pandal !! By Sr. Journalist Chaitanya Padukone

Many celebrities, including iconic actor-film-maker Rakesh Roshan, popular Mumbai BJP President and local MLA Ameet Bhaskar Satam, and famous playback and concerts singer Madhushree, came to seek the blessings of Goddess Durga at the Juhu Scheme Sarbojoneen Durgotsav 2025. This Durgotsav is organized by his legendary veteran yet evergreen Bollywood actor, film-maker, and singer  Biswajeet Chatterjee, along with his ever-supportive wife Ira Chatterjee and talented actress daughter Shambhavi.

Also present on the occasion was Biswajeet's daughter-in-law, the famous Bengali and Odia movies star actress-model and former beauty queen Arpita Pal-Chatterjee ( wife of Bengali movies superstar Prosenjit Chatterjee--Bumba-da). In fact, Arpita brought in her birthday last night (Oct 1st-- is her birthday) along with the Chatterjee family and her upcoming young star-hero son Trishanjit Chatterjee.  

This year marks the 22nd year of Durga Puja organized by 88-year-old Biswajit Chatterjee. who is a staunch Maa Durga-bhakt and has the energy and devotional passion of a 38-year-old young man Several stars attend this grand pandal every year. Rajesh Negi of Movie Magic was also present on this occasion and managed the festival well. Many artists came to Biswajit Da's Durga Puja pandal at Juhu Millennium Club. On this occasion, the guests were honored by Biswajit ji and Rajesh Negi.

Biswajit Da  ( lead romantic hero of 'Bees Saal Baad', 'Kohraa', 'Mere Sanam', 'Do Kaliyaan'.  'April Fool', and 'Kismat' super-hit musical retro-movies fame)  who is currently making this multi-lingual patriotic thriller film 'Agniyug-The Fire' starring Jackie Shroff, Anupam Kher and Madhoo has been celebrating Durga Puja with great dedication, love, and devotion for the past 22 years. 

Many people, including Rajesh Negi, are associated with him, which makes his program a star-studded event. Rajesh Negi said that Biswajit Da is not just a great actor but also a wonderful dedicated person. who has lived his life with great courage and resilience.

The Nanda Devi Raj Yatra, held every 12 years, starts from the Garhwal region and goes up to Kumaon. This sacred journey is a symbol of the soul of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand. Carrying forward this spirit, the Uttarakhand Friends Organization (UFO) has initiated the United Uttarakhand Movement under the leadership of Mr. Rajesh Negi, Mr. Pradeep Rawat, Mrs. Vijaya Pant Tuli, Mr. Satish Rikhari, Mrs. Pushpa Bisht, Mr. Deepak Joshi, and many other associates. With the collaboration of many institutions of the state, they presented an inspiring play "Khand-Khand Uttarakhand," and made a heartfelt appeal for "1 Kauthig – Bhavya Kauthig" – a dream of a grand and united festival of Uttarakhand's cultural heritage.

Rajesh Negi said that they express their heartfelt gratitude to BJP Mumbai President MLA Ameet Satam-jee, who inaugurated the Nanda Devi Utsav at Juhu Millennium Club. The conceptualization and management of this event were done by Mr. Rajesh Negi, Managing Director of M.S. Movie, Magic Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. He shared that this festival in Mumbai is not just a celebration of faith but also an attempt to seek the blessings of Maa Nanda Devi, especially during these challenging times when the Himalayas are going through a crisis. An emotional appeal was also made citizens  of Mumbai to come together and try to contribute in their own way for the hilly state of Uttarakhand.
