The much-awaited trailer of the film Vishw Guru Jai Shri Ramanuja, based on the life of revered Indian philosopher and social reformer Shri Ramanujacharya, was launched with great fanfare in Mumbai. Known for propagating the philosophy of Vishishtadvaita, Ramanujacharya wrote significant texts such as the Shri Bhashya and Vedanta Sangraham.

The event saw the presence of Dr. Lion Sai Venkat, who plays 13 incredible roles in the film, along with Bigg Boss fame Saurabh Kumar, Telugu actress Kajal, Padma, who plays the role of Goddess Lakshmi, and renowned filmmaker Shiv Kumar. Other prominent personalities from the film industry were also in attendance.

Devotion Meets Art in Dr. Lion Sai Venkat's New Film

Produced under the banner of Sudarshanam Productions, the film is directed by Dr. Lion Sai Venkat, who also wrote the story and screenplay. The dialogues are penned by Pravalika and Harsh, while the music is composed by Jayasurya, Venkat, and Harsh, with lyrics by Santosh Prasad. The devotional songs in the film are brought to life with the soulful voices of Padma, Prasanna, and Pravalika.

The trailer, which is approximately four minutes long, begins with the sound of a conch and a voiceover that introduces Shri Ramanuja as the eternal protector of cosmic knowledge. The visuals start with Ramanuja meditating in a tranquil forest, where his divine aura shields him from any obstacles. The trailer then transitions to scenes of Ramanuja imparting his teachings, with references to the Tirumala Hills. Notably, a clip from Prime Minister Narendra Modi adds a contemporary layer to the narrative.

In a captivating sequence, an ancient idol of Lord Vishnu reclining on Sheshnaga is shown with the chant Shantakaram Bhujagashayanam Padmanabham Suresham, which creates an enchanting spiritual atmosphere. Another devotional song highlights the various avatars of Lord Vishnu, while a portrayal of Ramanuja's struggle with the Sultan of Delhi introduces a dramatic and historical dimension to the film.

During the event, Dr. Lion Sai Venkat shared his vision for the film while answering questions from the media. “The life of Shri Ramanujacharya is an inspiration to all of us. However, the younger generation is often unaware of his teachings and contributions. Through this film, my goal is to bridge that gap and introduce today's youth to his principles. I believe this project is divinely inspired, and I am simply fulfilling God's will. The film is now in post-production, and we are preparing for a global release in March 2025 in five languages."

Filmed in prestigious locations such as Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and the picturesque Tirumala Hills, Vishw Guru Jai Shri Ramanuja will be released worldwide in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Sanskrit, and Hindi, ensuring that this remarkable story reaches audiences far and wide.
