Veteran producer Ashok Shekhar enters 'clean comedy'-zone with his new live show 'Hasya Tonic' with four top-class performers ! by Chaitanya Padukone

Veteran showbiz producer ( Movies and TV Shows) and live shows impresario   Ashok Shekhar feels that there is too much of stress and distress in today's times. "We need to often unwind and laugh heartily and take a hansi-mazaak booster-break from the tension-packed routine life. Which is why, for the first time, I am venturing into the field of live stand-up comedy stage shows.  Accordingly, it was decided to call our live stand-up comedy new show as "Hasya Tonic," discloses dynamic Ashok Shekhar, who is the son of legendary actor-film-maker Chandrashekhar-jee, and has the blessings of his father.

Incidentally, Ashok, who has completed over 52 years in his creative showbiz career, seemed fully-charged up with his new 'hansna-zaroori-hai' venture, encouraging response. "Our live show 'Hasya Tonic' has four well-known, popular, respected performers names from the comedy fraternity, which comprises Gaurav Sharma, Rohit Sharma, Sumita Keshva and very senior and respected Subhash Kabra-jee, " informs Ashok. What distinguishes our family-entertainer show from most other live comedy shows is that our show is clean, decent, yet intelligent, witty, hilarious laugh-riot but minus any vulgarity,"  assures Ashok Shekhar who also plans to introduce fresh-new yet promising talents.

Continues Ashok, " We have also lined up  live musical concert-shows in coming months not only in india, but in foreign cities as well. We also intend to produce comedy and thriller shows in Hindi, Marathi and Gujarati. Renowned senior writer director Swapna Waghmare Joshi has been signed to direct our upcoming projects, " informs Ashok.

The first premiere show ( "already houseful in advance" ) will be held on Friday 18th July at ASPEE Auditorium, Malad West in Mumbai, according to Ashok. Apparently, the rising  'public demand' for this 'Hasya Tonic' show has already begun and the series of the same show will be performed live at Jaipur, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, and other metro cities. This same show is even booked for the UK as well.
