Recently, the World Audio Visual Entertainment Summit (WAVES 2025) was held at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, the financial capital of India. This four-day grand event commenced on Thursday, May 1, and concluded on Sunday, May 4. A highlight of the summit was its inauguration by the Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The summit saw the participation of over 10,000 delegates from more than 90 countries.
The objective of this summit was to establish India as a global hub for media, entertainment, and digital innovation. Through this platform, the government aims to grow India’s media and entertainment sector to $50 billion by 2029.
