Brilliant visionary ( former actor turned) mainstream movie director Umesh Shukla (of landmark movies 'OMG' 2012, '102 Not Out', and 'Doondte Reh Jaaoge' fame) is now ready to release his fun-tastic family entertainer 'Heer Express on Friday August 8th. "Speaking to me, director Umesh said, " Most movies in recent times are full of brutal deadly violence. Our movie 'Heer Express' dares to be different, it is a clean wholesome fun-tastic family drama, with no conventional villains. However, we have legendary star-actors like Gulshan Grover and Ashutosh Rana who have played 'hate-worthy' negative, menacing screen-characters. In our 'Heer Express', some of the adverse situations play the villain. We also have the fabulous spontaneous star-actor . It is a roller-coaster blend of gripping family intense drama, with loads of humour and pure entertainment and the 'Heer Express' movie trending-viral trailer evidently proves what I am claiming," insists Umesh who auditioned over 21 short-listed female artistes to finally select Divita Junega, who is also a theatre-drama-artiste. Incidentally, Gulshan Grover feels a sense of pride that his grown-up talented son Sanjay Grover is also the co-writer and co-producer of 'Heer Express'!

Speaking about the mytho-heritage, the maha-gyaani great actor Ashutosh Rana known for his motivational pod-cast talks explained how in the current 'Kaliyug', human beings and even most screen-characters have a wonderful dual-blend of positive and negative shades. Speaking regarding the Marathi versus Hindi language current issues, Ashutosh said "that his wife acclaimed actress Renuka Shahane is a staunch Maharashtrian and that his children's mother-tongue is Marathi. All the same, Rana said that languages are always meant mainly for Samvaad (dialogue-conversation) but not for Vivaad ( controversy or negative differences )"

Enthuses star-in-the-making Divita, whose birthday falls on January 9th, just a day before that of Hrithik Roshan ( Jan 10th). " The title role 'Heer Express came to me with its extra pressure, But all thanks to full support of director Umesh Sir and proactive support from all my senior co-stars and also from my on-screen hero Pritt Kamani, the pressure was reduced drastically. I was fully determined to give my 200 percent 'best-shots' to the demanding title-role.which also showcases my emotional journey. For my multi-layered lead role I had to perfectly learn horse-riding, cooking,automobile functioning and even correct Punjabi diction, says Divita who is also an agile graceful dancer.

Shot across the scenic locations in the UK, Heer Express is the light-hearted family entertainer that we have been waiting for. The trailer is a fun ride mixed with cheer and chuckle and beautifully brings out all the flavour of a pure family entertainer.

Earlier the teaser of the movie had shown us glimpses of Heer’s emotional journey as she sets out to fulfil her mother’s dream overseas. The journey to this dream is not a bed of roses, but will Heer win her way through these challenges?

The makers launched the trailer in a grand event that had the entire star cast present and sharing their journey and navigating through the beautiful days of the shoot.
