Kartik Aaryan was recently seen in Kabir Khan's directorial venture Chandu Champion. It would not be wrong to say that Kartik completely immersed himself in his character while playing the role of India's first Paralympic gold medalist, Muralikant Petkar. Looking at his body, you must have guessed that he lost 18 kg of weight for this role.

Kartik recently revealed an incident from the sets of Chandu Champion that could have damaged his eye, in an interview Kartik Aaryan recalled the time when he was rehearsing for a fight scene in Chandu Champion. Kartik shared that he experienced an explosion on the sets during which he got scared. Talking about the scene, Kartik said, "We are all running and an explosion happens. While running on my right side, it just happened to be the first."

Continuing, he said, "It was a bit off in the rehearsal and when I reached the spot, it exploded at that time. It blasted my right eye." Kartik further said that the incident was quite scary. The Chandu Champion actor remembered that he couldn't open his eyes for some time. He further said that the right eye was "completely dirty" and it was filled with explosive particles. Kartik said that luckily, the particles weren't strong enough to harm his eye. Though nothing serious happened, the 33-year-old actor also said that he waited for some time and then resumed the rehearsal. Before performing the scene again, he washed his eyes and took medical help from the team "who is taking care of it."
