Thank you so much! Very blessed, truly. Every actor dreams of back-to-back projects, and if I’m getting that chance, I consider myself very fortunate. I thank God every day and give my hundred percent so that there’s never a lack in my work.

• What was the turning point of your career when you felt your journey would rise to greater heights?

For me, it was Bigg Boss. And then Khatron Ke Khiladi. In Bigg Boss, people mostly saw my anger, but in Khatron, they discovered my comedy, innocence, and the fun side of making people laugh. That’s when audiences started liking me from a different perspective.

• Your entry with Isha Malviya boosted the TRPs. Did the channel give you any special reward?

(laughs) I told them to double my fees! But jokes apart, the best thing is when the TRP rises. This show is really good—it deserves to be a hit and to earn a place in people’s hearts.

• Why do you think people loved the show even more after your entry?

Probably because Isha and I had many fights in Bigg Boss. After that, we were never seen together. When we appeared together in the semi-final of Laughter Chefs – Unlimited Entertainment, the TRP also went up. So maybe people were curious to see us together again and to know about our bond.

• In this show, you’re seen as “husband and wife,” but in reality, you’re entering as singles with Isha. When you first heard the concept, what came to your mind?

Initially, there was confusion. But when the creative team and Colors explained it to us, I realized that getting repeated work is a huge thing. Whoever refuses doesn’t get work again. I thought, if it’s work, then I must do it—and so, we did it together.

• What conversations did you have backstage with Isha during the entry?

Pretty normal. Because earlier, we had already worked together on a song, Ni Tu Baar Baar, and had several meetings. Such meetings make things cordial. The compatibility tests in the show are also very entertaining.

• It’s been over three years since your breakup with Isha. How did it feel meeting her again for the first time?

During the first shot, both of us felt a little uncomfortable. But gradually, things became normal, and we went ahead with the work.

• There’s also been buzz around your bond with Samarth Jurel—even rumors that you unfollowed him on social media.

Yes, I was surprised too when I saw those reports. Because the truth is, Samarth and I never followed each other on Instagram in the first place, so how could we unfollow? (laughs) We are good friends, we meet and talk, but honestly, we’ve never paid attention to Instagram.

• We’ve often seen you express your faith in God. How important is spirituality for you?

Very important. Whatever happens is part of God’s plan. I don’t go to temples to ask for things; I just go to meet Him, to see Him. That gives me peace.

• Fans also love your poetic side. Recently you wrote a verse—can you share it with us?

Yes, it was simply the voice of my heart. Here it is: “This moment feels a little drenched, a little special, your voice is echoing in my ears again. We’ve been strangers for years, yet it feels like we’re still just as close.” But I didn’t dedicate it to anyone—it was just what I felt inside.

• What’s next for you in your career?

Right now, my complete focus is on my career. I want to keep working and keep receiving people’s love. And if ever something I say hurts someone, I’d request them to ignore it and see me as just a human being. I work hard—please take my work as work and continue to shower your love.
