Abhishek Nigam's character in 'Pukaar: Dil Se Dil Tak' is layered

Abhishek Nigam, who started his acting career with the film 'India's Daughter', got recognition by playing the role of a superhero in Sony SAB's serial 'Hero: Gayab Mode On'. In his career, Abhishek had shared the screen with Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor in films like 'Panipat'. How will you be seen in this new show?

He is a pleasant, very interesting, and layered character. Seeing this character, the audience may think that he is just having fun but it is not so. There are many layers in this character, which we are showing very well. This character is new for me in which I will get to try a lot. I am very happy that I got the opportunity to be a part of ‘Pukaar’.

Is your character a gray shade or a positive character?

I can't say that there is a gray shade character but there are a lot of layers in this character. He is very idealistic, he has very good thoughts. He loves his family very much and respects and understands women a lot. He is a gentleman and perhaps this is the reason why there is separation between him and his father. He is so strict about his ideals that he even goes against his family. His ideals make his character interesting and his love for his mother and Saraswati aunty makes him a gentleman. I, Vedika, and Koyal are bringing a youthfulness from our law profession to this show, we will have a chemistry in this which will gradually progress. I am getting a chance to do a lot in this character and I am very happy.

You are not seen in the promo, your fans are waiting to see you in the promo.

I too am eagerly waiting for this. I just want you to see me in this show and we are trying to maintain the excitement.

You have played different characters in your career and fans have given equal love to each of your characters, how does it feel when fans love you so much?

I always say that I am very lucky, and the thing that makes me the happiest is my fandom and these people, they love me so much. When you are feeling low and open to social media where you get to see lovely reels about you and fans also write very good things about you, all these things make your day even more beautiful. The way they make my lovely edits and support me, I live for them. I feel very happy when I see this, I just try to entertain them in some way, make them happy with whatever my art is. I can only say one word for all the love that I am getting, that I am very lucky.

What would you like to say to your fans?

I would like to say that a new journey is starting with 'Pukaar: Dil Se Dil Tak'. We endeavor to bring something new for you. You will like this show very much, you will get a chance to see me again and I will get a chance to connect with you. Give a lot of love and support to this show so that we can do even better in life and you too keep doing good.
