In this interview, Anjali also touches upon fan interactions and cherished memories from the show. Let’s see what she had to say. The show is coming to an end. What are your thoughts on this? The show has been wonderful, and I have received immense love from the audience. As an actor, if you’re known for one character and then recognized for another, it signifies a successful journey. Initially, people knew me as Nia from “Mere Dad Ki Dulhan,” but now they recognize me as Yuvika or Yukti from “Vanshaj.” For an actor, this is a significant achievement. I believe it’s better to conclude a story at the right moment rather than dragging it unnecessarily, and that’s what we did. We maintained the same quality with which we started the show. It was a great experience, but now I look forward to what lies ahead. Very few TV shows have characters that are remembered long after they air. What have you gained from this journey? I have learned a lot both professionally and personally from this show. My work here has been exhausting; there wasn’t a scene where my presence wasn’t required. I was constantly moving from one unit to another, which has allowed me to grow as an actor. This show gave me the chance to portray a range of characters, from positive to negative, showcasing my versatility. The writer has done a fantastic job crafting the storyline. Shalin was also part of this show. You’ve worked with him before. What was it like working with him again? It felt great working with him again. Collaborating with established actors is always a pleasure. I had developed strong bonds with the cast, and while the show is ending, I believe these connections will continue in Mumbai. The team was amazing, and I plan to keep these relationships alive. There’s a lady in the costume department who took great care of me; she treated me like a sister, looking after my needs even more than I did. With the show wrapping up, I’m sure you’ve received numerous messages from viewers. What would you like to say about that? I have indeed received many DMs. One particular message on Instagram stood out: a 70-year-old viewer told me that in his entire life, he rarely found a show he liked so much. He fixed his 10 PM time for “Vanshaj” and expressed that he would miss me dearly. My inbox is filled with positive comments; there are only 2-4 negative ones. Many viewers have followed my journey since my first show, and my fanbase is steadily growing. Anjali Tatrari’s heartfelt reflections highlight her growth as an artist and the connections she has made during her time on "Vanshaj." As the show concludes, she looks ahead to new opportunities while cherishing the memories created.
