You’ve always said you wouldn’t do Bigg Boss, but you joined Rise And Fall. How do you see this experience?
Bigg Boss and Rise And Fall are completely different. This show was about challenges, strategy, and survival between the basement and penthouse. It lasted for 42 days, which worked for me since I didn’t want to stay away from my family for too long. Initially, I was worried about how I would handle unnecessary fights, but this show helped me overcome that fear. I never thought I’d do a show like this, but now I feel I made the right decision.

How much pressure did you feel during the show?
A lot! There were 15 contestants, and everyone was playing to win. You had to strategize during challenges while staying real at the same time. You can’t win this show by being fake. In the beginning, I had no one by my side—the contestants in the basement kept nominating me. But gradually, people started to understand me. Over time, things turned in my favor, and I knew I was on the right path.

You played the game calmly, without fights or shouting. Wasn’t that difficult?
It was very difficult because staying calm amid chaos isn’t easy. But I kept thinking—if my son watches this show, he should feel proud of me. I stayed away from unnecessary conflicts and played with positivity.

How did your son’s visit affect your game?
When my son came on the show, he said, “Dad, please come back as the winner.” That moment gave me immense strength. During every task, I remembered his words. I made sure I didn’t do anything that would make him uncomfortable or embarrassed at school.

What do you have to say about the contestants who behaved badly?
I did feel bad when some people mistreated me. Anyone else in my place might have reacted differently, but I chose patience. I realized that words don’t define you—your maturity does. When Neha apologized, I forgave her. She’s only 24, and her future is bright. I didn’t want my words to hurt her parents. After all, my son and her parents were watching the show too, so I stayed composed.

Did you ever feel like giving up during the journey?
Yes, there was a point when I felt completely broken. I thought maybe this show wasn’t meant for me. But then I found a photo of my family, and I told myself — “You can’t quit now.” That moment brought me back on track, and I kept moving forward.

What’s your message for the next season’s contestants?
I’d just say — don’t come here pretending to be someone else. Be real. This show tests both strategy and humanity. One wrong move, and you’re out. So, always stay alert and true to yourself.

What are your plans now?
Right now, I just want to celebrate Diwali with my family. After so long, I want to spend quality time with my wife and son. As for what’s next — time will tell. But one thing I’ve learned is: “Never say never!”
