Chahat Pandey was evicted from Bigg Boss 18 recently. After stepping out of the house, she responded to all the questions surrounding her and didn’t hold back, particularly when it came to Rajat and Avinash. She had a press conference where she addressed the media.
Let’s find out what Chahat Pandey had to say..
- You were seen as good friends with Rajat in the Bigg Boss house. What’s your take on that?
There was never a friendship between Rajat and me. He would often hurt me, and then try to calm me down later by talking to me. He never stuck to his words and would always go back on what he said. He would tell others he was with me, but then be seen with someone else. It made me feel awful. Rajat would hurt me first, and then act like he was fixing it.
- What was your relationship like with Avinash? We saw a lot of tension between you two in the last few episodes. Can you share your thoughts?
I think everything Avinash did was for footage. He disrespected me and made baseless accusations against me. If his sister had been in my place, would he have said the same things about her? It was very hurtful. That's when my mom stepped in to support me. I believe all of this was done for publicity.
- Karan also said behind your back that you were faking emotions, calling your tears "crocodile tears." What do you think about that?
When Karan said that my tears were "crocodile tears," it really hurt me. When I was inside the house, I had no idea he had said that. It wasn’t until I came out and saw it that I felt deeply upset. He is a senior, and he shouldn’t be using such words. I was shocked because I always thought he was a responsible person. Making fun of someone’s feelings is something I don’t agree with at all.
- There were a lot of issues between you and Vivian. Some viewers said that Vivian was more famous than you. How do you feel about that?
Initially, I had disagreements with Vivian. He’s a senior artist, and people often bow down to him, but I didn’t appreciate his rude and arrogant way of speaking. Shehzada and Shrutika felt the same. However, when his wife came into the house, Vivian changed and started speaking to me more respectfully. After his wife left, his attitude towards me improved.
- You also mentioned changes in Rajat’s behavior. What are your thoughts on that?
My experience with Rajat was mixed. He would get angry over small things initially, but later he became calmer. However, he always made fun of me behind my back. During Bigg Boss, we even danced together, and I taught him the moves. Spending time together does create some bond, but there were things about him I just didn’t like.
- During a task, we saw you cut Rajat’s thread. Do you think there’s any chance of a relationship between you two now that you’ve left the house?
Rajat was never my brother, nor did I ever consider him my friend. I never called him my brother, and I don’t think there will ever be any friendship between us because he’s a flip-flopper.
- Now that we’re nearing the Ticket to Finale, do you think Esha deserves it?
No, I don’t think Esha deserves it. She’s only made it this far because of Avinash’s support. If Avinash had been eliminated, Esha would have no presence in the house. She is nothing without him, and I feel she should have been eliminated earlier. Moreover, Esha wasn’t happy when Avinash spoke to me; he would only talk to me when she wasn’t around.
- Esha also mentioned your connection with RK, later apologizing for it. What do you have to say about that?
I just want to say, stop making these baseless claims, because the audience is watching everything. They know exactly what’s happening.
- Who would you like to see in the Top 3?
I would like to see Karan, Vivian, and Chum in the Top 3 because all three are strong competitors in the game.
- There’s a photo of you with a cake that went viral. Can you share the real story behind it?
There’s no truth to it. Just because of one photo, people are making all sorts of assumptions. That photo was taken during my show Nath, where I was sitting with everyone. Our fans regularly send us cakes.
- There have been rumors about you and Manas. What do you have to say about them?
The rumors about me Manas were completely false. He came forward to clear everything up. He is a very genuine person, and I respect him a lot. I’m grateful that he spoke out in the media to clarify things. I would love to have friends and co-actors like Manas.
- Who do you think should win Bigg Boss?
If Vivian and Karan make it to the Top 2, then Vivian is the true winner. However, I believe anyone who is real and authentic deserves to win.
- Do you think Chum Chungi has only made it this far because of Karan? Who do you want to win?
No, that’s not true. I want Chum to win because women’s power deserves to be recognized. I believe this is the time for women's empowerment, and that’s why I’d love to see Chungi win.
Chahat Pandey, who has worked in several TV shows like Hamari Bahu Silk, Durga – Mata Ki Chhaya, Nath: Zevar Ya Zanjeer, Tenali Raman, and Pavitra Bandhan, is now making her mark with her bold statements and honesty after her Bigg Boss journey.
