'Dange': “Don't repeat what you did with Sanam Teri Kasam.” Harshavardhan Rane

The trailer of the film 'Dange' produced by T-Series, Bejoy Nambiar, Prabhu Antony, and Madhu Alexander is getting a lot of love from the audience. The film is the story of students of a medical college. The film stars Harshavardhan Rane, Ehan Bhatt, Nikita Dutta, and T.J. Bhanu will be seen in the lead role. For your information, let us tell you that the film will be released in theaters on March 1.

What was your first reaction when you heard the name of the film ‘Dange’? Tell us something about it.

Ehan - I watch all types of films. I mostly like drama but also watch science-fiction and political films. Recently I watched the film 'Two Popes', which many people might find a boring drama but for me, it is an outstanding film. If I talk about the name ‘Dange’ then just hearing this name sounds very powerful. Just by hearing this name one feels that this film is an adrenaline rush film. This film was directed by Vijay Nambiar who is famous for his cinematography graphic skills and direction. What is seen in the trailer looks very good. I am very curious to know how people will respond to this film. When I read the comments I see that most things are on the positive side. Seeing all this, it seems that the audience is liking the film, and we are happy to see that they are liking it. I am very happy to be a part of this film and feel proud of myself for working with such good people.

Nikita- I was given the complete narration of the script, after which I came to know the name of the film. I thought this name was very good for the film. Just by watching the trailer of the film, it can be said that the name of this film should have been 'Dange'. There was no better name for this film.

Harshavardhan - When you have enjoyed an experience with a person and the same person calls you again, then you will not think twice before doing his work, for me Bejoy Sir is that person. I have worked with him before in 'Hiss' so I trust him.

Pick a Side is written on the poster of the film, and when we see this we wonder what it could mean. Would you like to tell us something about it?

Harshavardhan - If I answer this, it would be that one way is to watch the movie by downloading it online and the other way is to buy a ticket and watch the movie in the theatre. The audience waited for me to download and watch 'Sanam Teri Kasam', now please don't do this with them. I request everyone not to do the same to it as you all did to Sanam Teri Kasam.

Sanam Teri Kasam received a lot of love from the audience, so how did you enjoy that phase?

Harshavardhan - Enjoyed it online, just like the audience enjoyed it online, similarly I too am enjoying this love online.

You started your career with television, after which you were a part of big films like Kabir Singh. How do you look at your journey?

Nikita- Whether I have done shows or films, I have always tried to do better work than before. This is currently my 9-year journey and the way I see it, I have learned a lot from this journey, have met some very good people, and have got the opportunity to work with some very talented people. If I talk about 'Dange' then I think this film is the peak of all these things. In whatever field I have worked, I have worked with the best people in that field. I consider myself very lucky that I have done so much work and learned a lot from it.

A lot of action is being seen in the trailer, so how was the experience of shooting the action sequences, tell us something about it.

Ehan- Let me tell you, I was going to do the film 'Sanam Teri Kasam', and after that, there was another film 'Haseen Dilruba' which I was going to do, but both these films were done by Harshavardhan. When the turn of the third film came, I asked Bejoy sir who was the other actor with me and when he told me the name of Harshavardhan, I said that I would take revenge for not doing those two films in this film (in a funny way). Harshavardhan is a very nice person and I enjoyed working with him a lot.

Harshavardhan - The biggest example of destiny is sitting in front of you today. He was about to do 'Sanam Teri Kasam' and today we both are working together. I once read somewhere that “Life is not about what happens to you, it is about how you react.” The way Ehan reacted to this is what made him the person he is today. If he wanted, he could have taken it the wrong way but he didn't. Ehan has taken this thing very positively and we have also learned a lot from it.

Would you like to say something about action, you guys also take great care of your fitness. Would you like to say something about this?

Harshavardhan - All the credit for this goes to my father and Bejoy sir because I got the genetics from my father, I got all the action and romance from them. The one who brought all this on screen is Bejoy sir who has done a lot of the choreography himself. Bejoy has so many stories, and the visual of how to bring them on screen is clear in his mind. Whatever action I took, it was because of them.

Nikita, in the trailer you are sometimes seen with Ehan's character and sometimes with Harshavardhan’s character. Your character looks quite suspicious, tell us something about it.

Nikita- If you find my character suspicious, it means that our objective was successful. We want to create suspense. We just want you to keep guessing whose side I'm on. My character Rishika is complex. She has a lot of internal battles of her own, and Rishika's backstory is not very pleasant. We are children of a medical college, and she is trying to live a life by keeping herself away from all those things the way children behave there.

Ehan, tell us something about your character.

Ehan - I won't be able to tell you much because then you will know why pick up a side. The film has the point of view of both the characters, and it will also be known what happened between them that something like this happened.

Harshavardhan, you have a different look and style in this film, tell us about it.

Harshavardhan - Yes, I will talk about that. As an actor, my motive is that no one should say, “Harsh, we have seen you like this.” Bejoy sir has given me a new look and I feel that if an actor gets this opportunity to look different in every film, then I consider myself very lucky. I believe that filmmaking is a director's vision, so for this film, he made me wear a nose ring and gave a different look to my hair, so if he asks me to remove my hair in the next film, I will remove it because I believe in his vision.

What would you like to say to the fans and audience?

Nikita- This is Harsh's message to the fans and audience that part 2 of 'Sanam Teri Kasam' was not made because you did not go to the theatre, so this time please go to the theater and watch our film 'Dange'. We have made this film with a lot of love for you, we want you to go to the theater and enjoy this film. Therefore, go to the theater and watch 'Dange' which is releasing on March 1.
