The celebrity comedy cooking reality show ‘Laughter Chefs – Unlimited Entertainment’ has officially concluded, with Karan Kundrra being crowned the winner. But what truly set this show apart was not just the trophy, but the bonds that formed between the participants. After the finale, Karan, Samarth Jurel, and Abhishek Kumar opened up about their journey. Here’s what they had to say:
Karan Kundrra on Winning and Building Bonds
Winner Karan Kundrra began by thanking the audience and addressed speculation around the win.“If anyone thinks this win was based on stars, that’s incorrect. Both Samarth and Abhishek also received 10-10 stars.” He emphasized that Laughter Chef wasn’t just another reality show, but a heartfelt experience that brought everyone closer. “Usually, after shows, people stay limited to just greetings. But here, we truly became so close that a week without shooting feels incomplete. I can honestly say, while cooking together, we became a family.”
Karan also recalled the physical challenges of the show: “Sometimes fingers were cut, sometimes faces got burned. But the memories made on this journey overshadow everything.”
On Ali’s participation, he said: "Ali is a great chef. When he entered the show, the competition really kicked in—but it also doubled the fun.” Regarding the finale, Karan added: “Everyone was exhausted, but we knew it was our last day on this set, and that made us equally happy.”
Abhishek Kumar: "I Called Abhinav ‘Jeeja’ But Didn’t Call Rubina ‘Didi’!"
When asked if they made any mistakes during the show, Abhishek Kumar humorously shared: “Once, I dipped my finger in hot oil just to check if it was heated—it was a mistake I won’t repeat!” He also recounted a funny moment when Rubina Dilaik’s husband, Abhinav Shukla, came on set:
“I called Abhinav ‘jeeja’ (brother-in-law), but I didn’t call Rubina ‘didi’ (sister)—that was my winning moment!” His remark left Karan, Abhinav, and the entire media team in splits.
Samarth Jurel on Injuries and Beautiful Memories
Samarth Jurel shared the physical toll the show took: “Oil splashed on our faces at times, and while chopping vegetables, we often cut our hands. Still, we walk away with beautiful memories from this show.”
Will There Be Season 3?
In unison, all three stars expressed interest in coming back for Laughter Chefs Season 3: “If we’re offered the show again, we’ll definitely consider it. You guys flood the comment sections so the makers have no choice but to bring us back!”
