'Bigg Boss 18' has now concluded, and Rajat Dalal, who won an incredible fan following on social media, emerged as the second runner-up. After the Bigg Boss finale, he spoke to the media and shared his thoughts. In the conversation, Rajat expressed his disappointment, saying he never expected to be a part of the Top 3, as he had hoped to go further. Let’s take a look at what Rajat had to say in this interview.
- How does it feel stepping out of the Bigg Boss house?
When I stepped out of the house, it felt like a dream. I never expected to come third, but life has its ups and downs, so I’m looking forward to starting fresh now.
- Everyone inside the house thought you would take the trophy home, but some say you lost because of Elvish Yadav. What do you think was the reason behind your loss?
I was inside the house, so I had no idea what was happening outside. I didn't know the dynamics or the situation out there, so I can’t really comment on it.
- Elvish has often been accused of dragging his friends down, whether it was UK Rider or even you. What do you think about that?
I can't control what others think. He’s my brother and will always remain my brother. The trophy is not more important than brotherhood. If people have opinions, they are entitled to them. But I know the bond I share with him, and nothing will change that. No matter what others say, it won’t affect my feelings.
- During the second media interaction inside the house, Elvish called the media "paid" in anger, and you were seen laughing at the moment. What do you have to say about that?
That wasn’t me; it was my brother Elvish who said that. He spoke his mind based on how he felt. If my close ones say something I believe in, I’ll listen to it. I don’t care about what 100-150 people say.
- Karan Veer Mehra was the winner of this season. What do you have to say about that?
I believe in fate. Everyone works hard, and so did I. But life has its different paths for each of us. Whatever is meant to happen, happens. It was in Karan’s destiny to win the trophy, and I wish him well.
- What are your plans for the future? Are you considering any film or TV shows?
Right now, I haven’t had a chance to think about it. I couldn’t sleep last night, and today I’m still processing everything. I’ll start thinking about the future in the next day or two.
- Some of your fans are claiming that there was some discrepancy in the voting. What do you think about that?
I wasn’t involved in the voting process. I don’t know how things happened behind the scenes, so I can’t comment on it. What I can say is, I am grateful to everyone who supported me. I will focus on things I can control and won’t dwell on things beyond my reach.
- Fans on social media are calling for a boycott of Bigg Boss. What do you have to say about that?
I don’t have much information about this right now. It will take me a day or two to understand the situation, and then I can comment further. He six finalists were Vivian, Karan, Avinash, Rajat, Chum, and Isha. However, Esha, Chum, and Avinash were evicted, leaving Karan, Vivian, and Rajat in the Top 3. Rajat was eventually eliminated from the Top 2, and Karan emerged as the winner of Bigg Boss 18.
