Let us tell you that Seerat played the role of Riya in Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur's film 'Jersey'. Earlier, Seerat had worked as Swareen Kaur Bajwa in the Punjabi show 'Chhoti Jethani'. Apart from television and films, Seerat has also done many ads. Let us tell you that after the leap, Seerat will be seen playing the role of Mannat in the Zee TV serial 'Rab Se Hai Dua'.

Looking at the promo, it can be said that your characters are very powerful. What would you like to say about the show?

I would like to say that I consider myself lucky that I got a chance to play such a character. This character talks about an important topic in the show. In this show, we are talking about a community and women who are not able to talk about themselves. I consider myself lucky for this character.

Tell us about your character, how will you be seen in this show?

The name of my character in this show is Mannat. Mannat is an outspoken, carefree, and fearless girl. When you see Mannat, you will also enjoy it because she is having fun. She doesn't have any such tension in her life. She has got a lot of love from her family and she loves her family very much and she loves herself very much. When she likes something, she tries to get it and does not give up.

Tell us about your point of view regarding the story that is going to be shown in the show.

Keeping my personal opinion aside, I can talk about many things from Mannat's point of view. Mannat has filed a PIL along with her sister. This PIL is to challenge the notion of multiple marriages. Because people are also misusing it and because of this women are having to suffer a lot. The show is the voice of those women only. We just want that there should be a change in the whole world, some things should be changed to stop whatever wrong things are going on. Both these girls have full support from their families.

When you play the role of a lead character, you also have a responsibility. How do you see this thing?

We want to move forward considering this show as a family because this show is already a family and the audience has considered it as their family for a long time. We also want to be a part of it adapt to it and take it further. Just as children want to take their family forward, similarly we want to take it forward.

How did this project come to you, and how excited are you about this project?

I am very excited because I am playing the lead character in it. This show is with Zee TV so I am very excited. I had auditioned for this show and they liked it. When I got to know more deeply about this character, I felt as if nature had taken me to the right place at the right time.

Tell us something about the experience of working with Dheeraj and Yesha.

We have shot a lot together so far. Everyone on this set has a very positive vibe. I come here and tell everyone that I am enjoying working here a lot. Yesha and I have become as if we have known each other for many years. We both are very similar in real life. We give the same reaction to one thing only. It seems like we have become twin sisters. Dheeraj sir is a very good and experienced actor, so I was wondering how to do a cop-up with him, but he makes you feel very comfortable. It feels great to work with him.

What would you like to say to the fans?

I just want to say that watch our show with a very open heart and mind. Till now you have given us a lot of love. We are trying our best not to disappoint you. We are doing our best, and hope you like it.
