Shilpa Shirodkar has finally exited the Bigg Boss 18 house. After leaving, she shared her feelings about the relationships she formed with fellow contestants during her time in the house. In a candid interview with the media, Shilpa spoke about her bond with Karanvir and Vivian D’sena, as well as her thoughts on who should not win the Bigg Boss 18 trophy.
Let’s take a look at what she had to say in her interview.
How do you feel now that you are out of the Bigg Boss house?
I feel very sad that I was so close to winning, yet got eliminated. But at the same time, I am happy that I spent 100 days inside the house. Those were some of the most beautiful days of my life. It was always my dream to be a part of Bigg Boss, and I experienced all the emotions I ever wanted to within that house. Now that I'm out, I feel stronger.
You made a reel saying you were in the Top 5, but now you're out. What do you have to say about that?
Yes, I did say that, but what can I say now? My prediction turned out to be wrong.
You trusted Karan, but he eventually let you down. What are your thoughts on this?
My relationship with Karan has always been different. He’s always been like a friend to me. Inside the house, when everyone was against me, Karan supported me. Even when others told him to leave my side, he didn’t. He stayed loyal to me.
There was a moment when Vivian got upset with you and asked you to choose between him and Karan. You chose Karan. What do you have to say about that?
My first bond in the Bigg Boss house was with Vivian. In the beginning, he was a good friend, but later, his behavior started changing, especially when he spent more time with Avinash and Isha. He would come to me many times, but it seemed like he wasn’t really coming to talk. I feel that after Avinash entered, Vivian’s attention shifted towards him. That’s why I chose Karan.
During the Ticket to Finale task, Salman Khan said that if Karan and Chum knew they were in the Top 5, they could have played differently. What’s your take on that?
No, Karan didn’t get the chance to explain himself properly. It wasn’t that he didn’t want to see me in the Top 5. When he got a chance, he mentioned that he wanted to see Vivian, Chum, Avinash, and Shilpa in the Top 5. What I noticed is that he didn’t mention Rajat’s name.
You apologized to Vivian several times. What would you say about that?
Actually, I apologized once. Apologizing is not a big deal. If you realize that something you said or did hurt someone, it’s only right to apologize. I felt that some of my words might have hurt Vivian, so I genuinely apologized. And I don’t think saying sorry takes away from your respect. When I was leaving the Bigg Boss house, Vivian came up to me and apologized to me too.
What are your thoughts on Avinash?
I don’t understand what Avinash thought during his 102 days in Bigg Boss. He is still very young and needs more experience and maturity. I hope he becomes more mature over time and learns from his experiences to communicate better.
Who do you see in the Top 3?
Karan, Chum, and Vivian.
Who do you want to see as the winner of Bigg Boss 18?
Karan.
If not Karan, who would you want to win Bigg Boss 18?
Chum.
If voting were to happen and the choice was between Vivian and Rajat, who would you choose?
Vivian.
