Kubbra Sait – My character Sana Sheikh was very secretive and guarded in the first season. This time, she will learn to trust others. Her new layers and emotions will surprise the audience. She knows a lot about everyone, but no one knows much about her. There is a lot that’s new, and I’m very excited for it.

• The previous season left many mysteries unresolved. What new layers will your characters reveal this time?

Kubbra Sait – This time, my character Sana will unveil even more layers—she will learn to open up and connect with people, and the audience will also get glimpses of her past and true self.
Sheeba Chaddha – Malini is a partner at a law firm and has her own struggles. This season, the story will reveal new layers of her personality, offering a fresh perspective on her life and mindset. Every character will showcase new shades this season.

• You both have played characters that reflect the strength and independence of modern women—how do you perceive this?

Sheeba Chaddha – Women have always been enablers and supporters. Whether at home or at work, they play significant roles everywhere. So, we didn’t need to put in extra effort to portray these characters—the qualities are inherent in us.
Kubbra Sait – I believe women have always been smart. The difference now is that they are finally getting the validation that was previously overlooked. In real life too, I have always seen women being empowered. Not just in the industry, women are making their mark in every field, and they are strong in every role—whether as the owner of a big company or a woman working in someone’s household.

• How was your experience working with such a stellar cast?

Sheeba Chaddha – When every actor is focused on their character and scene, the energy automatically becomes positive. We learn from each other and draw energy from one another. That’s the strength of this show, and the experience has been wonderful.
Kubbra Sait – For me, it has been an absolute privilege. From the first season to the second, the journey with co-actors and the entire team has been extremely delightful. Everyone here is very safe and supportive. No one ever spoke harshly—everyone works with love and respect.

• What is your perspective on the evolving industry and changing audience preferences?

Sheeba Chaddha – I feel these changes are like a blessing for us. Earlier, stories were formulaic and limited, but now the content has become layered and deeper. Today, actors get roles that are both challenging and exciting to portray. Truly, this is a fantastic time for us.
