Famous TV actor Adnan Khan, who has won hearts with his versatile roles, will soon be seen on Colors TV's new show "Mannat – Har Khushi Paane Ki". In this show, he plays the character of Vikrant Saluja. In a recent interview with Mayapuri Magazine, he shared his reasons for choosing the role, his character, co-stars Ayesha and Mona, and the USP of the show. Here's what Adnan Khan had to say: You"ve received so much love for your roles in the past. Now, returning with this new show on Colors, what were your reasons for taking up this character, this show, and your connection with Colors?I gave an audition and honestly, I really enjoyed it. My first thought was that this character doesn"t have any trauma or inner struggles, and that felt really light and refreshing. After that, I thought, “Let"s take it a step further and do a mock shoot.” Once I did the mock shoot, I enjoyed it even more, and then I told myself, “This is the show I should do.” This show is creating quite a buzz with its grand setup – the restaurant, cooking, the shooting, and the overall setup. What do you think about it?I think exploring the inner world of a restaurant is very exciting. The chefs, the owners, the partners, the rivalries between different chefs in the kitchen – it"s a fascinating subject. I"m sure the audience will really enjoy this fresh take. What will Vikrant"s character be like? How will he connect with the audience?Vikrant Saluja is going to be a very stylish, fun-loving, and passionate person, who shares a unique bond with his country. He loves food, and the way he sees the world is beautiful. He doesn"t resort to anger quickly or try to look down on people. He appreciates the small things in life. Overall, you will see a complete human being, someone who is already whole. Every story has a love story, and the audience loves it. You and Ayesha will be seen as a fresh pair. How will this love story be interesting and special to connect with the audience?I think Ayesha, who plays Mannat, is absolutely fantastic. I"m really excited to have scenes with her because when I do scenes, I keep thinking, "Wow, she is really good." And as for Vikrant, he loves love – especially romantic scenes. I"m really looking forward to them because I find the whole idea quite appealing. Hopefully, we"ll be able to give the audience something fresh. What are your thoughts on this fan excitement?I think Ayesha's fans are very strong and genuine. As for my fans, they"ve always supported me, no matter what I do. They are always there for me, and I feel blessed. I"m already seeing a lot of excitement from Ayesha"s fans as well. They"ve been messaging me, and I can see how excited they are. Hopefully, we will give them something they love. When I spoke to Mona Vasu, she mentioned that she feels you (Vikrant) and Adnan are very similar. What do you think about that?Yes, absolutely! Both of us are very passionate about our work. Vikrant"s bond with his country is something really beautiful. Similarly, I am very proud of my bond with India. It"s not just about shouting “India is the best!” or anything like that – it"s a deep, genuine love. I went abroad and visited a village in Amsterdam where I thought I might retire one day, but still, my heart belongs to India. Adnan, we"ve seen you portray royal, businessmen, and other interesting characters. How much do you enjoy playing these roles?Oh, I absolutely love playing wealthy characters. They have such grand houses, and I think, "Wow, who wouldn"t want to live in these houses?" You get to wear fancy clothes and live a luxurious lifestyle, and I enjoy every second of it. What do you think is special about this show? What"s the USP of the show, according to you?I think the USP of the show is Ayesha, who plays the character of Mannat. She"s a phenomenal actress and will take the audience on an incredible journey with her character. She is so good at what she does. In addition, we have Mona ma"am, the producer Mukta ma"am, a wonderful director, and Colors channel, which has been fully supportive. When all of these elements come together, good entertainment is bound to happen. What would you like to say to your fans?I would just like to say, “Be patient with us and keep supporting us.” We hope that we can entertain you and not waste your time.
