Indian TV’s popular reality show Chhoriyan Chali Gaon has bid farewell to supermodel Reha Sukheja, who has been eliminated from the competition. After her exit, she gave an interview to the media where she shared her experiences from the show and village life. Reha said that she will always cherish the memories she made there.

What was your first experience like when you reached the village?

Honestly, I had no idea what to expect. Our first home was that of Ram Kaur ji. Initially, I felt a little hesitant because there were no mattresses, no cooler, and even the doors were quite small. But the warmth and simplicity of the family made me feel comfortable within just a few minutes.

How were the living arrangements in the village?

There was no cooler and very few mattresses. But grandma gave us a mattress, pillow, and blanket, which made us very comfortable. The other girls were sleeping on the floor. Still, we were so exhausted from the tasks that we could have fallen asleep anywhere.

How was your bond with the family and villagers?

The villagers were extremely sweet and hospitable. Ram Kaur ji and her family treated us like their own daughters. Even though we were away from our families, the love we received there made us feel at home. When the time came to leave their house, we truly had tears in our eyes.

What new things did you do in the village?

We made cow-dung cakes and plastered them on walls, caught chickens, rode bullock carts, and even wrestled. These were things I had never even imagined doing before. The entire experience turned out to be so much fun.

How was the competitive spirit in the show?

There was a very strong competitive spirit among all the girls. Everyone wanted to win, which made the games even more enjoyable. If the competition had been completely fair, in my opinion, the real contest would have been between Anita and Samridhi.

What lessons did you take away from Chhoriyan Chali Gaon?

The biggest lesson I learned is that even though villagers may have fewer resources, they are far richer in contentment and happiness. In cities, we keep complaining about small things, but living in the village made me realize how important it is to be grateful for what we already have.

How did you feel when you had to leave the village?

When we had to leave, Surabhi and I cried a lot. Our bond with that family had grown so strong that leaving them was very difficult. The moments I spent there have become some of the most beautiful memories of my life.

I believe this show is not just about fights but about bringing forward a beautiful concept. My message to my fellow contestants is—leave the petty arguments aside and focus on the true essence of the show. That is what will make it a positive and inspiring experience for India to watch.
