Let us tell you that while talking about the film 'Sholay', Hema Malini told ANI, "We are happy. When we started working, we did not know that the film would be such a big hit. Now after 50 years you are asking questions about it in the Parliament. At that time I did not know that we would come to the Parliament. That time was different. The film was made. It is difficult to make another 'Sholay'".

Story of Sholay
Sholay revolves around two criminals, Jai (Amitabh Bachchan) and Veeru (Dharmendra), who are brought to the village by former police officer Thakur Baldev Singh (Sanjeev Kumar) to take revenge on the dacoit Gabbar Singh (Amjad Khan). Hema Malini and Jaya Bhaduri also play Veeru and Jai's lovers, Basanti and Radha.
